Thinking about buying StopWatt but not sure if it is worth it. The product claims sound nice but a bit gimmicky, so wondering if anyone actually saw their monthly bill go down. Did you notice any change in appliance behavior or flickering lights after plugging it in? Any homes where it made no difference?

Not totally sure it’s a guaranteed saver, seems like results vary a lot between homes. If you decide to try it, maybe run it for a full billing cycle and compare the actual usage, and check the return window first. Anybody noticed flickering or odd appliance behavior after plugging one in?

Sounds overhyped to me. I’d be surprised if it made a noticeable dent in most people’s bills. Seeing an actual meter or bill before/after is the only thing that would convince me.

Tried StopWatt for two billing cycles, bill stayed about the same. No flickering or weird appliance stuff, just plugged in and forgettable. Ended up unplugging it after a bit.

Thanks, sounds like most people didn’t notice a difference. I think I’ll wait for someone with actual meter numbers before buying.

I’ve had mine plugged in for a few months now. Can’t say I’ve done a deep dive on my bill numbers, but I did notice my lights seem a bit steadier if that makes sense, no more random flickers when the AC kicks on. It’s not like it’s saving me a ton, but it’s still plugged in and I haven’t felt the need to yank it out.
