Looking at the Pro Capture Action Cam for trips and casual bike rides. Anyone used it handheld for quick vlogs and outdoor stuff? How is the stabilization and audio in wind or on trails? Does it tuck into a jacket pocket for a day out or is it bulky to carry? I want simple on the go shots, not pro gear, but not sure if this is the sweet spot.

Looks compact enough to tuck in a jacket pocket for a day out, not bulky. Stabilization seems fine for handheld vlogs and easy rides, though on rough trails it gets a bit shaky. Wind audio can be hit or miss, sounds thin in stronger gusts.

Main thing I’m wondering is battery life. Can it handle a day of short vlogs and rides without swapping batteries? If not, carrying spares would ruin the pocketability.

Battery life is decent for a few short clips and casual vlogging through the day. If you expect lots of shooting or longer rides, you’ll probably need a spare cell or a tiny power bank, and that does make it less pocket-friendly.

Seems pretty pocketable for casual days out, should fit in a jacket or cargo pocket unless you shove it in a bulky case. Interface looks simple enough for quick grab-and-go clips, which is what I care about. Carrying mounts or a spare battery obviously makes it less pocket-friendly, but as a basic travel/bike camera it looks handy.

Thanks, that helps. I think I’ll grab one and test handheld stabilization on a short trail ride, maybe that’ll be the deciding factor.

I dunno, I tried one and the audio in wind was pretty rough even with a light breeze. Maybe it’s fine if you’re not moving much but on a bike I wasn’t impressed.
