  • in reply to: Does the Ozoori need to be on all the time to work? #12088

Mine has been sitting in the fridge nonstop since I got it and I just top up the charge when the light tells me to. Running it here and there never made much sense to me.

The no filter thing is why I grabbed it. Baking soda boxes were always getting knocked over in there.

in reply to: SynGas and stop-start traffic, does it help there? #11728

Mine still does something in stop and go, but it’s way less noticeable than on the highway. I’ve had mine about two months and honestly the crawling parts feel basically the same as before. If you’re mostly in traffic you might not see much.

in reply to: Does the CoolCove remote work through walls? #11583

Alright, that answers that. Thanks folks.

in reply to: Vital Shoulder Massager and office wear? #11499

Mine never got in the way of typing at all.

in reply to: Vanotium board vs old plastic one for raw chicken? #11436

Mine goes in the dishwasher and that alone makes it less of a hassle than plastic for me. Raw chicken still means washing it right away though, no board changes that part.

in reply to: Omnihear for one-on-one chats? #11271

I mostly use mine for one on one stuff and it sits in quiet mode about 95 percent of the time. Volume is the only thing I touch. The modes feel like overkill for a plain conversation in a living room, so I just leave it.

in reply to: Does Back Restore actually need 15 minutes or can I do less? #10878

I actually think the 15 minutes is less of a magic number and more of a “give the muscles time to stop guarding” thing. I borrowed my brother’s unit for about two weeks and messed around with the timer. On days I did the full 15, my lower back felt looser for most of the afternoon. On days I bailed at 7 or 8 minutes, it felt good right when I got up and then tightened back up within an hour or so. So for me it wasn’t that shorter sessions did nothing, it just didn’t hold. That said I don’t think lying there longer than the recommended time does anything extra either. Once the muscles let go, they let go. I’d rather do a shorter session twice in a day than try to stretch one past 15. Curious if anyone else has tried splitting it up like that.

in reply to: Does the iTagPro work for luggage on a plane? #10551

Bluetooth only from what I can tell, so you won’t see it mid flight. Mine popped up once we landed and that was enough for me. It still gave me peace of mind knowing where it ended up.

in reply to: Qinux BarkBuz battery life after a few weeks? #10414

I’d just keep a charger handy and not overthink the exact schedule. If it’s doing the job and the battery isn’t dying in a few hours, that’s probably normal for these things. I’d only start worrying if it stopped holding a charge at all.

in reply to: Qinux Vibrathea how long do you usually leave the pads on one spot? #9920

I think a lot of it depends on the intensity you’re running. If I keep mine cranked up higher, I definitely want to shift it around sooner because that buzzing gets pretty intense. When I dial it back to a lower setting, I can leave it in one place for the full 15 minutes without any issues. Maybe try playing with the levels before you worry about the timing.

in reply to: Can the Qinux BreezaMax sit on a nightstand without tipping over? #9555

Mine ended up being fine once I actually set it up.

in reply to: Qinux WarmPro timer or does it just run until you unplug it? #9257

I can confirm it just runs until you cut the power. The only automatic shutoffs are the safety ones for overheating or tipping, so there’s no built-in timer to save you if you forget. I use mine mainly when I’m working late and I’ve gotten into the routine of unplugging it before I leave the room. It’s a minor thing, but worth knowing if you’re someone who likes to set and forget.

in reply to: Aptofit charging cable, does it have to click in? #9238

The magnetic pull on mine is pretty modest too. No click, no snap, just the contacts meeting up and holding. I’ve had the watch on my nightstand for about six weeks now and it’s never come off during the night, but I also place it flat on the table rather than leaving it on a high shelf or anything where a bump would knock it loose.

What I did notice is that the connection feels stronger when the cable is brand new and the contacts are completely clean. After a few weeks of just sitting there, dust or whatever can make it feel a bit weaker. I wipe the little metal dots on the watch and the cable with a dry cloth every now and then and it seems to hold a touch better.

I wouldn’t say it feels loose enough that I worry about it during the night, but if I accidentally yank the cable while unplugging something nearby, it will pop off. That happens to me more than I’d like, actually. The watch itself stays put, but the cable detaches pretty easily if it gets pulled at an angle.

For overnight charging specifically, I think you’re fine as long as the watch isn’t somewhere it can get bumped. Mine sits on a flat surface and hasn’t moved once. If you’re the type to toss and turn and have the charger near the bed where a blanket or pillow might hit it, I could see that being annoying.

in reply to: Tagsley wallet placement and Find My accuracy? #9131

I’d want it mainly for peace of mind, not for pinpoint precision.

in reply to: Does the iTagPro beep as loud as the old Tile? #8839

I might be in the minority here but I actually think the iTagPro has a sharper tone to it, even if it’s not necessarily louder in terms of raw volume. The old Tile sounded kind of muffled to me, like it was buzzing through a layer of fabric. The iTagPro seems to cut through more cleanly, so it feels like it grabs your attention better even at a lower volume. I found mine pretty easy to locate when it was shoved between couch cushions, which is where my keys usually end up. I wouldn’t say it’s night and day different, but the quality of the sound makes up for any drop in loudness. I guess it just depends on what your ear is used to picking up.

in reply to: DashOne Pro suction mount on textured dashboards? #7750

I think there’s a bit of a middle ground here that nobody’s really mentioned. That suction mount is definitely happiest on glass, no argument there. But I’ve had mine on a dash that has that pebbled, slightly rough vinyl texture for about four months now, and it hasn’t moved once. The trick is just making sure the rubber part is completely clean before you press it down, and I give it a firm twist when I set it.

That said, I don’t live somewhere with extreme heat in the summer, so I can’t say how it handles baking in the sun all day. If you park outside in the middle of July, I’d probably look at a sticky pad mount instead. But for normal daily driving, mine has stayed put through some pretty rough roads. Worth a try before you buy extra stuff, at least.

in reply to: Does the SawShark work on all chain sizes or just some? #7517

It fits the common sizes fine, but checking the actual numbers is still smart.

I keep meaning to ask this myself actually, since my mattress is on the firmer side but still not floor level. I feel like the traction part is the whole point though, so if the surface gives too much it probably just turns into a heated massager instead of a decompression session.

in reply to: DappSmile strong mode safe for everyday use? #7374

The strong mode definitely has a bite to it, that first time caught me off guard too. I’ve settled into using it most days now, but I treat it more like a quick tap and lift motion rather than scraping along the surface. My gums felt a little raw the first week, but once I got the hang of the angle it’s been fine.

in reply to: Does the Melara Air sit too high for stomach sleepers? #7209

I had the same impression when I first tried it, but for me the height actually evened out once I stopped trying to force my usual sleeping position and just let the pillow do its thing. I’m not saying it will work for you, but I found that the first couple of weeks were more about my neck adjusting than the pillow being wrong. It just feels more noticeable because you’re not used to having that much support under your head.

in reply to: Does TopCarPlay need a strong phone signal to connect? #6939

Cell signal really isn’t part of the equation here. The adapter basically sets up its own little network between your phone and the car, so the garage shouldn’t matter for the actual connection.

I’d say the only thing you might notice is if you try to load up a new podcast or map update while you’re down there, since that stuff still needs your phone’s data. But just for the CarPlay connection itself, you should be fine.

in reply to: Qinux AquaSylk filter replacement cost? #5992

Filters are cheap enough that it’s really not something to stress over. I think I paid like 25 bucks for a pack of two online. I just swap mine when the water starts feeling a bit less strong, which for me is more like every 4-5 months. Honestly, the cost is nothing compared to dealing with those white spots everywhere.

in reply to: Clima Pest Guard battery life actually 14 hours? #5792

I’m curious if the brightness setting makes a big difference on battery. I haven’t picked one up yet, but I’d probably run it on a lower mode if that helps stretch it out longer.

I think the 6 day claim gets a little too much scrutiny sometimes. Even if you only get 5 days, that’s still way better than most smartwatches out there.

I’ve actually been looking at this mask for a while too, and from what I’ve read, the blue light seems more targeted for acne while the red is for aging. I’m leaning toward trying it mainly for breakouts, but I’m a little worried the blue mode might not be strong enough on its own without the red.

in reply to: Keilini Heater Pro timer setting question #5346

I think it only does full hour increments, so you can set it to 2 hours and it’ll shut off after that. I’ve got one and just use it on the timer for a few hours at night before bed, works fine for that.
