The chirps are normal, mine has done that since day one and it’s still working fine. I actually think it’s a decent compromise because the short beeps are enough to get my attention without the full blast going off right away. I’ll take that over the old detector that sounded like a fire truck every time I burned some toast.

I’d say go for it, but leave the ladder out of it. I’ve used mine on the ground for the lower half and it’s fine one-handed, but up high you’re fighting the hose and trying to hold on at the same time. Not worth the wobble. Just do the top with a pole or whatever you can reach from a window.

I wouldnt use it on a puppy under six months. Their brains are still figuring out what barking even does, and an ultrasonic blast might just confuse them more than teach them. My older dog picked it up fine, but if I had started her that young I think it wouldve backfired.

I’d say plug it in wherever’s easy and give it a few weeks before judging it.

I actually think the timing question depends more on what you’re trying to fix. With the panel I felt like I needed longer sessions to notice anything, but the mask seems to work faster per session for the face specifically. Took me about six weeks of consistent use before I saw a real difference in texture.

From my own use, the ice is the first thing to lose its punch when the humidity climbs. The fan part still does the job of moving air around, which is most of what I want on a muggy day anyway. I’d say keep it running, just don’t expect the cold blast you get on a dry afternoon.
