MemberI’m glad you asked because this is one of those things I wish the packaging made clearer. I kept mine plugged in during a long nap once and woke up to it still blowing warm air, which was cozy in the moment but made me feel silly for not checking. I just make it a habit now to glance at it before I leave the room, kind of like checking that the coffee maker is off.

MemberIt could be that the magnetic connection is fine and it’s just the angle of the puck. I noticed with mine that if the watch isn’t sitting perfectly in the middle of the charger, it feels looser and I can wiggle it a bit. When it’s lined up properly, it holds well enough that I don’t worry about it overnight. I’ve had mine about two months now and charge it every few days on my desk, and it’s never actually fallen off or lost connection mid-charge. I don’t think it’s supposed to snap like a phone cable, more like it just needs to sit flush. Maybe try setting it down more carefully and see if it feels any firmer to you. If it still feels really flimsy after that, it might be worth asking the seller about it.

MemberI’d say it depends more on the direction the dog is facing than the actual distance. My neighbor’s dog barks at the fence line and the unit catches it from across the yard, but if the dog is turned away or behind something, it seems to miss more. For just leaving it out there, it does fine for me.

MemberI actually think the drops on the windshield are where mine shine the most. I got caught in one of those sudden evening downpours where you can barely see the taillights in front of you, and I could still make out the lines and signs way better than I expected. The rain itself didn’t disappear, but everything felt less chaotic visually.

MemberMine have been the same way since I got them. I just turn the volume up a bit more for calls and it’s fine, but it does feel like the music and call levels are on totally different scales. I haven’t found a setting that fixes it, so I just deal with it.

MemberI actually like that it softens up a bit. The first few days it felt almost too scratchy on my nails, like it was catching on everything. Now it’s smoother and I can do my whole hand without stopping. I never really cared about it being super rough as long as it gets the job done.
