northshoreParticipantBought a Qinux Vapoxis a few months ago after a lot of comparing and it cleans fine for everyday stuff, but I’m starting to notice the steam gets weaker and there’s a tiny leak near the tank. Has anyone had that happen after a few months and did it get worse or stay usable? Do seals or parts tend to fail and are replacements easy to find? Just looking for real long term experiences before I decide whether to keep dealing with it.

Carla82MemberWorked fine for about 9–12 months then steam got weak and a small leak showed up. Tried to source seals and support was slow, parts are annoying to find. It cleaned well until then but I just replaced it instead of fiddling with repairs.

coffeeandscreensParticipantI think mine lasted about a year and a half, and when a tiny leak showed up the steam did weaken but it still handled light jobs. Tried ordering a seal and that was slow so I just kept using it until I finally upgraded. If it’s only a little drip and still cleans for you maybe keep it, but don’t wait too long if the steam keeps fading.

northshoreParticipantThanks, that helps, I think. Sounds like a lot of you saw issues around the year mark and with parts/support being slow I’m leaning toward replacing rather than hunting for spares. For now it’s a tiny drip and still cleans okay so I’ll keep using it until the steam really fades, maybe look for replacements later but not excited about the hassle.

Dani MoonMemberLeaks and weak steam sound like worn seals to me, that stuff often shows up after a few months. Not totally sure about parts availability but replacements and support can be a pain to source. If it’s not getting worse you could keep using it, but I’m leaning toward replacing before it turns into a bigger hassle.

Mike89ParticipantMine’s been going just over a year and still pumping strong steam with zero leaks. Use it a few times a week and it’s been fine for me.

LauTopMemberSame thing happened to mine after a while. It kept doing quick jobs but the steam weakened and the leak never really went away, seals felt cheap and finding parts was a PITA. I wouldn’t bin it yet if you’re only doing light cleaning, but don’t expect it to be rock-solid forever.

AnnaKParticipantMine lasted around 10 months before the steam faded and a small leak appeared, and I just used it sometimes after that.

northshoreParticipantThanks for the feedback, not convinced those leaks are just flukes so I’m leaning toward replacing it rather than babysitting a flaky unit. Appreciate the reality check.

MemberI’ve seen a few people mention that leak issue online but honestly haven’t run into it myself yet. Got mine a couple months back and it’s still steaming like day one for quick bathroom touch-ups and windows. Kinda wonder if it depends on the batch or something.
