I’ve been using the Derila Ergo for about a week and I’m not sure if the height is right for me. I’m mostly a side sleeper and my shoulder feels a bit off in the morning. I know it’s supposed to support alignment, but maybe I need to adjust. Anyone else have this issue?

Height might actually be fine, the issue is probably that your shoulder is digging into the foam instead of the pillow filling that gap. I had the same thing with a similar shape and what fixed it for me was sliding the pillow back a bit so the wing sits under my neck, not my ear. Took a few nights to click.

I’d probably just try folding a small towel under the pillow for a couple nights to see if the extra bit of height helps your shoulder. If it still feels off after that, I’d look at whether the pillow is just too soft for side sleeping.

I get why you’d think it’s a height problem, but a week really isn’t long enough to judge that. I had the same shoulder thing for the first couple weeks with mine and was convinced I needed something taller, then it just kind of settled down as I got used to sleeping on it. Your body’s probably still figuring out where to put itself on a shape that’s nothing like a normal pillow.

I actually think people give up on these way too fast because the first few nights feel weird and they assume it’s wrong. Not saying yours is definitely fine, but a week of morning shoulder stuff doesn’t really tell you much yet. Mine took closer to three weeks before I stopped noticing it at all, and now side sleeping on it is honestly fine. Give it a bit longer before you start changing things around, that’s my two cents.
