Does Epicooler actually cool a room or just circulate air?

I’m skeptical it actually cools a closed room like a proper AC without an exhaust hose, maybe it mainly just moves air and gives a bit of relief. Could still be handy for renters or someone who wants a whisper-quiet fan that helps in a small bedroom.

Heating actually felt noticeable in my room. Cooling was underwhelming, more like a fan than real AC.
