I’d actually try it before buying a second one. Not saying it’ll definitely cause problems, but in my place adding a second antenna upstairs did mess with things a bit. The new one pulled in a couple channels the old one had been getting fine, and I ended up fiddling with both to get them settled. Took an afternoon of moving them around, which I didn’t expect going in.
If I were you I’d grab one from somewhere with an easy return, hook it up in the bedroom, and just watch your main TV for a few days to see if anything drops out. If your signal is already strong and stable you might not notice a thing. Mine was borderline to begin with, so the second one kind of tipped it.
The other thing is placement matters more than people admit. Putting the bedroom one on an outside wall near a window helped a lot and stopped the two from stepping on each other. When I first had them both near the middle of the house they were fighting more.
So yeah, I’d do it, just keep the receipt handy and don’t assume it’ll be plug and play like the first one was.
I’ve had mine about two months and mostly use it on the stovetop and the rubber seal around the fridge. The steam definitely comes out hot, like I can feel it on my hand from a few inches away, but I’ve never trusted it as a full replacement for a disinfectant spray. If something actually needs sanitizing, like after raw meat juice dripped somewhere, I still hit it with a regular cleaner afterward. For everyday grime it loosens stuff fine, but calling it a germ killer feels like a stretch to me. It’s more of a hot wet scrubber than a sterilizer.
I’d treat one dip as a data point, not a verdict. If the next few nights go back to normal, that’s your answer. I used to check daily but now I mostly look at the week and whether I actually slept well.
I don’t own one yet, still comparing a few options, but the plug question is actually one of the things I’ve been thinking about. From what I’ve seen with other small climate units, the plug and outlet usually aren’t the weak point. The bigger thing is whether the unit pulls any standby power when it’s off, and whether unplugging it regularly could wear out the cord or the outlet over time. Two weeks isn’t really long enough to notice either way. If it were me, I’d probably leave it plugged in and just use the power button, since that’s what it’s designed for. The only reason I’d unplug is if I were going away for a while or there was a storm. Curious what made you start unplugging it in the first place, was it a habit or something you read?
The app itself ran fine on my old Android, but the setup is where things got annoying. If your phone is really old, check the OS version against the app store listing before buying.
I’ve used a similar drying pod and draping over the top did not work well for me. I tried it once with a couple of shirts over the rack instead of hanging them properly, and the parts touching the rack stayed damp while the outside dried. It was slower than a normal load and I had to run it again. I get the space issue, but these units seem to rely on clothes hanging with some room around them so the warm air can actually move. If you cram or drape them, you might save a bit of space but lose most of the benefit. I ended up just hanging fewer items at a time and it worked better.
Over-tightening isn’t the fix. Mine held fine once I set it on the bar and kept steady downward pressure while filing, no cranking needed.
The remote situation wasn’t a dealbreaker for me. I mostly use the buttons on the fan itself during the day, so the remote just lives in a drawer until I need it for the oscillating settings at night. That’s really the only reason I fish it out. The fan has been running in my bedroom for about two months now and I haven’t lost the remote yet, mostly because it stays put when I’m not actively using it. I get why people worry about small remotes, but this one hasn’t been an issue in my case.
Offline mode is real but narrow. I tested it in a rental with no service and only a couple of the languages I’d preloaded actually worked. Everyone keeps asking which ones, and the app never gives a straight list, which is my main gripe.

Weak pressure is the main thing I’d look at, but there’s another factor people miss: how much gunk is actually stuck to the patio. Jetterix rinses loose stuff fine, but if dirt has been baked on for months it won’t touch it regardless of pressure. That’s been my experience anyway.

I wouldn’t count on it surviving real weather. Splash resistant usually means a bit of moisture, not sitting through a downpour or a storm. If I had one I’d still bring it in when it looks rough out.
I have the P1 and tried it on a low pile rug once. Weight was close but the body fat number was way off compared to my usual reading on tile.
I’d wipe it down first just so you’re not grinding grit around, but that’s about it. Cold panels definitely behave better in my experience, direct sun seems to make the cloth drag and smear. If it’s hot to the touch, I’d wait.

Mine started squeaking around the third week too, and it was specifically when I was turning the pressure ring. I noticed it most when I went from the wide fan setting down to the tighter stream. Not every time, but often enough that I started paying attention to it.
What I ended up doing was just slowing down when I adjust the pressure. Instead of cranking it quickly from one end to the other, I turn it a bit, let the water run, then turn it more. The squeak got quieter after that. I don’t know if that actually fixed anything or if it just worked itself out, but it hasn’t gotten worse.
Mine has been through maybe two months of regular use now, mostly for washing the fence and the back steps. Still works the same as day one aside from that noise. No leaks, no drop in pressure, nothing breaking off.
I think the squeak is just the sound of the internal parts moving against each other when you change settings. It seems to happen more when the water is on full blast. If it starts getting louder or turns into a grinding sound, that might be different. But a light squeak when adjusting pressure sounds pretty normal to me based on what I’ve experienced.
I’ve used both and the AlarmTag pin definitely comes out easier than the old keychain ones. Not a huge difference, but enough that I noticed right away. I actually prefer it since it’s quicker to grab and pull if I need it.
The two-way mode is more for quick back and forth than travel phrases, so it should fit basic chats. I’d still keep sentences short with her. The app setup needs a phone nearby, but it doesn’t seem to need wifi constantly after that.
176 is just a number carriers like to throw around. What matters is whether the local network is decent, and that varies way more than the country count suggests. Mine grabbed a signal on its own every time, no settings needed.
Desk placement is listed as supported so it should do what it says. The bigger thing is just giving it some clearance around the back so it can pull air in properly. I’ve seen people sit these right against a wall and then wonder why it feels weak.
Three weeks sounds about right to me. I used one in a closed cabinet and got close to four, but that’s way less exposed than a garage. If the smell is gone, it’s probably done.
I wouldn’t count on much range from it. Mine feels pretty similar across the whole turn, just slightly softer or harder. The adjustment is there, but it’s not dramatic.
