MemberI switched mine for the same reason, mostly the cable, and the parking mode was a bonus I barely use. I wouldn’t upgrade just for battery drain worry since you can turn parking off if it acts up. If the dangling cord really bothers you, it’s a small change.

MemberI’m still on the fence about buying one, so this is useful. For me the light would probably be easier to judge than the vibration, since I notice brightness changes right away. The vibration stuff I’d probably second guess no matter what.

MemberI’d lean more toward her just not being used to it yet. My cat did the same thing in a new carrier and was fine after a few days. A harness is probably just weird for her right now.

MemberI don’t think they advertise a real warranty anywhere, which is part of why I haven’t pulled the trigger either. Usually that means you’re relying on their general return policy and whatever your card offers.

MemberI’ve been wondering the same thing actually, since I’m still deciding whether to get one. From what I can tell, a little dust on the counter sounds pretty normal for these things. The chamber can’t catch every tiny particle, especially the finer stuff.

MemberI’m still figuring this stuff out too, so I don’t have a strong opinion on the perfect spot. When I first got mine, I put it behind my main debit card in the same slot and just left it there. That was maybe two months ago and I haven’t noticed any issues with paying or tapping in. No clue if that’s technically the “right” way, but it hasn’t caused me any trouble yet. I figure as long as it’s in the wallet somewhere near the cards, it’s probably doing its job. I might try a different pocket at some point just to see if anything changes, but for now I’m not messing with it. Curious what you end up doing.
