I still buy one all purpose spray and that’s mostly a personal preference thing. I like having something I can grab and squirt without dragging out the cord and waiting for it to heat up. For quick little wipe downs it’s just faster for me. That said, I use the steamer way more than I expected when I first got it. It’s my go to for the bathroom and for the stovetop after cooking. I haven’t bought a separate bathroom cleaner in maybe four months now, which I didn’t see coming. So I guess my honest answer is it cut down my chemical use a lot but didn’t wipe it out completely, and the stuff I still keep around is more about convenience than the steam not working. If you’re someone who hates clutter and wants one thing for everything, you might feel differently than I do.
Waiting that full three minutes is a waste of time in my experience. I sprayed a decent sized scuff on my husband’s car and let it sit while I ran back inside for a drink, so it was probably closer to ten minutes before I got back to it. Came off with the same effort as the small test spot I did earlier where I waited less. So the whole timing anxiety is kind of pointless in my book. If anything letting it sit longer seemed fine, no crusting or fighting with the cloth. I just wipe when it stops looking wet and shiny, and it works. The one thing I’d say is use a clean cloth and flip it often, because that made way more difference for me than the exact drying window ever did.
I usually just set a timer on my phone so I’m not checking the clock the whole time. Ten minutes has been my sweet spot lately.
Mine actually feel less noticeable when I sit than when I walk. I think it depends on where the stabilizers land on your leg. If they sit a little high or low they’ll poke into you no matter how loose the straps are. Maybe try shifting the whole brace up or down a bit before you tighten it.
If you’re moving it between spots constantly, the weight won’t be the problem, the hose management will be.
I think the saved pairs are more of a convenience thing than anything that affects performance. I only ever use mine for English and Portuguese, but I have a couple of other pairs stored from when I was messing around with the app. Switching between them takes like a second and I haven’t noticed any lag or the translation getting weird after I jump back to my main pair.
The one thing I will say is that it does remember where you left off. So if you were messing with a different pair last night and then you try to talk to your friend the next day without checking, it’ll just go with whatever was last selected. That’s more of a user error thing though.
I wouldn’t overthink the settings. Just leave them saved and double check the screen before you start talking. That’s been enough for me.
I actually think the old Tile was the quieter one in my case. My iTagPro is plenty loud, almost too loud when I hit the button by accident at night. I’d say give it a few more tries in different spots around the house, but mine seems fine.
I’ve been using mine about twice a week for a couple months now and I can tell a difference in my skin tone, so I wouldn’t stress too much about hitting three times. It’s not like I’ve had some dramatic transformation, but my face looks calmer and a bit more even. If twice a week is what you can manage, I’d still say it’s worth picking up.
I feel like the delay on SpyFocus is shorter than what I was used to, but it’s still there. Not enough to bother me, but I wouldn’t call it real-time either.
I’d still bring the spray if I were you. The light part is nice and it does seem to keep stuff from swarming right around it, but I wouldn’t trust it to keep a whole campsite clear. I treat it more like a bonus than the main defense.
I’ve had the opposite experience honestly. I run a bunch of different saws and the Klampero has been fine on every chain I’ve thrown at it, including some older ones with weird wear. Maybe I got lucky, but I haven’t hit a size it refuses to work with yet.
I had mine in a bedroom that’s probably on the smaller side and it did okay for cooling, but it definitely felt more like it was working right next to me rather than cooling the whole room. The heating side was actually the part I used more, it warmed things up nicely. For a rental it’s convenient, but I wouldn’t expect it to feel like a real AC.

Not because the difference is huge, but because I already have those little gel packs in my freezer for my lunch bag, so it’s zero extra effort for me. I’d skip the hassle and just use the phone every time. It’s basically the screen for the drone, so without it you’re flying blind. Sure, the drone can still hover around on its own, but if you want any clue what the camera is seeing, the phone is the way to go.
I wouldn’t get too hung up on the exact number. I got one and yeah, there are a ton of games, but you can tell a lot of them are the same game in different language versions or with slightly different names. Like you’ll find the same beat ’em up three times if you scroll enough.
That said, I was surprised by how easy it was to find the actual good stuff. The menu lets you sort by system, so I just jumped straight to the SNES list and ignored everything else. Once I did that, it felt like a solid collection of the usual classics you’d expect. I’ve had mine for a few months now and I mostly play the same ten or fifteen games anyway.
If you’re the type who likes to browse and try random stuff, you’ll notice the filler pretty fast. But if you know what you want to play, you’ll find it without much trouble.
I’ve had mine for a couple months now and my phone is basically useless in my driveway at home, let alone in a garage. The adapter still connects every single time. It’s only talking to the car through its own little network, so the actual cellular stuff on your phone doesn’t matter for that part.
The only thing I’ve noticed is that if I’m in a dead zone, maps might not load traffic or whatever until I get moving, but that’s just the phone struggling with data, not the adapter dropping. The connection itself has never blinked out on me.
I get why it seems like it could be an issue, but the two things really are separate. If your car already has wired CarPlay, this thing just replaces the cable part. The garage shouldn’t be a problem at all.
I actually found the opposite. The mask takes me less time because I can just throw it on and move around, so I end up using it more often than I ever did with the panel. The panel sat in the corner and I’d forget about it for weeks.
The app can be like that sometimes with mine too. It usually happens when I haven’t used the buds in a couple days, and I just have to close everything out and try again. Its a bit annoying but once its connected it stays connected.
I’m sure you can pop your own SIM in it, most of these travel routers aren’t that locked down. The included one is probably just for convenience so you don’t have to hunt for a local SIM right away. I wouldn’t stress too much about being stuck, but it’s a fair thing to double-check before buying.
OBD2 ports have been pretty much the same since the late 90s, so your 2008 is not going to be some weird oddball version. I drive a 2007 and plugged mine in without even thinking about it. It fit right in, no adapters or anything.
The thing that took me a bit to get used to was that it doesn’t do anything instantly. You have to remember it’s learning your driving for the first week or so, so you won’t see any changes on the very first drive. I almost forgot about it and then noticed the gas gauge wasn’t dropping as fast as usual after I had put maybe 200 miles on it. As long as your car has that little port under the dash, you’re fine. The age of the car really doesn’t play into it.
Honestly, mine’s been great in a small bedroom and I think the size actually helps it. It’s not like one of those big tower units that blasts air in just one direction. Since the room is small, the air has less distance to travel, so it kind of circulates on its own if that makes sense. I wouldn’t worry about hot or cold spots at 80 sq ft. That’s pretty compact.
I think you’re more likely to notice the opposite problem, where it gets too chilly or too warm if you leave it running for a long time. I just set mine to a comfortable temp and it holds it steady. It’s been nice not having to switch out a space heater and a fan depending on the season. I’d say go for it, especially if you’re just trying to make your office comfortable without cranking the whole house AC.
