I run mine overnight sometimes and the fan noise is definitely there on low. Doesn’t really change, you just hear it more once the rest of the house is asleep. If you need total silence it’s probably not the one for you.
I got mine a few months back and the case actually came inside the box, but here’s the thing, it was buried under the mounts and cables so I almost missed it. I think a lot of people open the box, see the camera and the little bag of accessories, and figure the case isn’t there. Mine was tucked at the bottom. So it’s worth digging through everything before assuming it’s missing.
That said, I’ve seen listings where the case is clearly pictured on its own, like a separate item in the gallery, and those ones probably don’t include it. The bundle listings usually show everything laid out together. If the photos look like a group shot of all the stuff, you’re probably fine. If the case is off on its own little product shot, that’s a sign it’s sold separately.
For snorkeling it does the job fine, no leaks so far after a handful of trips. Just make sure the seal is clean before you close it up.
I’ve had mine under my desk for a few months now and the cord hasn’t been an issue at all. I just looped it around the back leg of the desk so it stays out of the way when I slide my chair in and out. Socks or no socks, doesn’t really change anything for me.
Mine took a pretty solid knock when I fumbled it on a sidewalk once, and the screen still works fine, no cracks or anything. That was a few months back and I haven’t had any issues since. The grass drop probably isn’t the problem, but wet grass has me more cautious. I’d just wipe it down and leave it somewhere dry for a bit before charging it. If it turns on and responds normally when you test it with the collar, you’re probably good to go. These remotes seem to handle everyday clumsy moments okay, but I wouldn’t push my luck and test how much moisture it can take.
I guess it depends on what you mean by useful. For me, the main thing is peace of mind that it’s still watching for a leak while the power’s out. I wouldn’t expect to be staring at the display anyway during an outage, just nice to know the alarm will sound if something happens. Long enough for your typical outage is probably fine.
I use mine on a power strip in the living room because the outlet behind the couch is hard to reach. It’s been fine for a couple of months now. As long as you’re not daisy chaining cords across the room, I would not stress over it.
I’m mostly a voice person too. The touch controls just never became a habit for me. I’ll use them if I’m somewhere quiet and don’t want to talk out loud, but most of the time voice is quicker anyway.

For a home kit, I’d say it’s a decent thing to have around, but I wouldn’t expect it to solve everything in a single motion. The real takeaway for me is that you should practice with it before you need it, because fumbling around with the masks during an actual emergency is not going to be fun. The transparent chamber is nice though, at least you can see if something actually came out.
I didn’t find any spare tips in mine, just the one that was already attached. I figured that was the norm until I saw other people mentioning extras. It’s a bit of a gamble depending on the batch you get, so if you’re picky about heads, grabbing a spare pack is probably safer.

I don’t think you need to worry too much about it being a garage. Mine’s been plugged into an unheated one for a while now and it just sits there doing its thing. The soundwave stuff isn’t really affected by temperature from what I can tell. It’s more about making sure nothing’s blocking it.
I think it depends a lot on what you’re doing when they go off. For me, the annoying part isn’t really when I’m adjusting them, it’s when I’m doing something else entirely. Like if I’m just walking and my hair brushes against them, or I’m pulling a hoodie over my head, that’s when mine decide to pause or skip.

If you’re on the fence, I’d say it’s manageable but don’t expect the sensitivity to go away on its own. You just kind of adapt.
I wouldn’t stress about it too much. These travel routers are usually pretty open when it comes to SIM cards. The included one is just there so you can hit the ground running without hunting down a local SIM on day one.
I’ve used similar devices before and swapping in my own card was just a matter of opening the slot and putting it in. As long as the router supports the bands your carrier uses, it should work fine. The only thing I’d double-check is whether the device is unlocked out of the box, but most of them are because they’re aimed at international travelers who want flexibility.
If you’re worried, you could always shoot their support a quick message before buying. But I wouldn’t let that hold you back. Worst case, you use their plan for a bit and figure it out later.
I’ve dried a pair of jeans in mine a couple times and they came out fine, just took a bit longer than thinner fabrics. Not lightning fast but it got them dry without feeling stiff or overheated.
I think it probably depends on what you’re playing. Some of the simpler emulators seem more stable with save states than others.
I think the vents are mainly for peace of mind if your jaw relaxes a bit during the night, not for fully stopping mouth breathing. Mine seems to work fine for me, but I don’t overthink it.
I’d just check the cable too, even if it says 100W, some of them don’t actually deliver it consistently. Mine was fine once I swapped to a different cord, so it might not be the charger itself.
It’s probably not that big of a deal unless you’re trying to clip it onto something really thick. I’d just use it as a speaker and not worry too much about the clip size.
