Still going to be some lumps if you use a really thick shake. It spins the drink around but it does not break things down like a blender would. Fine for a quick mix if you are not picky, but do not expect a smooth result.
Louder or quieter, who cares. The Tile beep annoyed the hell out of me anyway. I don’t need my tracker to sound like a fire alarm when I drop my keys between the couch cushions. A softer beep is fine as long as it actually gets me to the right drawer.
Ice or no ice, it still does the job better than a regular fan. The ice just makes it feel like a cold breeze instead of a slightly damp one. If you’re lazy like me, water only is fine. Just don’t expect it to turn your office into a fridge.
Its not the camera, its your network. Ive run a couple of these cheap mini cams over the years and they all have the same weak spot. If your upload speed is trash or the Wi-Fi signal is weak where you mounted it, you will see lag no matter what app you use.
People blame the camera for this stuff all the time, but its usually the router that cant keep up. I moved mine closer to the router and the delay basically disappeared. Still not perfect, but way better than my old one was. You cant expect a $50 camera to stream faster than your internet allows.
Stop staring at the screen waiting for it to update and just watch the playback if it bothers you that much.
One pull is just marketing shorthand. The reality is you pull until something happens, whether that’s the object coming out or the person starting to breathe again. If the seal breaks or the mask doesn’t fit right, you’re doing it again anyway. It’s not magic, it’s just suction.
The shifting annoyed me at first too, but honestly, I stopped noticing after the first couple of uses. The trick for me wasn’t tightening the straps to the max. It was just accepting that the thing moves a little when I reach for stuff. It’s a massager, not a backpack. I found that if I pull it a bit higher up on my neck before I lean back, it settles into a spot and stays mostly put. It still slides when I twist around, but so does everything else I wear on my shoulders. I don’t expect it to be glued to me. The massage part works well enough that I don’t care about the minor shifting.
Busy street is where mine starts struggling. I had to repeat myself a few times and even then it grabbed the wrong word once. Fine for a quiet cafe but I would not rely on it for a crowded market or anything loud.
Mine fogged up the second time I used it, right after I took it out of the car on a hot day. Hasn’t happened since, but I also stopped treating the case like it’s some invincible vault. I think people expect it to handle anything and then blame the case when basic physics kick in.
The seal thing matters more than most want to admit. I make sure it clicks all the way around before I get in the water. If you’re rushing it, you’re asking for trouble.
That said, the fact that it’s inconsistent is annoying. You never know if you’re going to get a clear shot or a blurry mess until you’re already out there. Glad yours is working out, but I’m not about to trust it fully on a trip where the footage actually matters.
If you can handle a drill one-handed on a ladder, this won’t change anything. I found the hose drag worse than the weight.
I wouldn’t bother. Cup holders are shallow enough that you’ll be fighting the thing the whole time. Just keep a couple of napkins in the door pocket and wipe them out when you get gas. Less hassle than that little vacuum.
I’ve had mine for a little over a month and I still accidentally trigger them whenever I adjust the fit. The tap spots are small and the whole outer surface seems to register touches. If I so much as brush against them when pushing the buds deeper into my ears, it pauses or skips. I would say it’s less about getting used to where to tap and more about learning how to handle them without touching the sensor area at all. That part doesn’t really go away, you just adapt to holding them from the stem or the side. For the price, I can live with it, but if you’re someone who constantly needs to reposition earbuds during a workout, it will probably annoy you more than once. It’s not a deal breaker for me, but it’s also not something I’d call fine either.
Honestly this is one of those things where people overthink the safety angle. The remote exists for a reason, and if UV was somehow leaking through walls, there’d be way bigger problems than just this lamp. Close the door, hit the button, move on with your day.
Mine’s in a bedroom that’s maybe a bit larger than your office, but not by much. I didn’t overthink the placement, just set it on a shelf across from the bed and figured I’d move it if I had to.
The evenness thing is kind of odd to describe. I don’t get obvious hot or cold pockets, but I also wouldn’t say the whole room feels exactly the same everywhere. It’s more like the general area around it feels fine, and the rest of the room just feels… acceptable. If you’re sitting right next to it you’ll notice more of a direct blast, especially on the heat setting, but if you’re on the other side it’s just sort of comfortable in a background way.
I remember the first few days I kept fiddling with the temperature because I couldn’t tell if it was actually doing anything or if I was just getting used to it. Then I walked out for a couple hours and came back and the room was noticeably less stuffy than the hallway, so it was working the whole time. I just couldn’t feel it happening.
For something that small and light, it does more than I expected. I haven’t tried it in a bigger space and I don’t plan to. For a room your size I’d guess you’ll be fine as long as you don’t expect it to feel like central air. It’s more of a background thing that you stop noticing after a while, which I guess is the point.
