Does the Qinux Vapoxis work okay on oven glass?

    Used the Qinux Vapoxis on the oven door earlier, just the inside glass. It cut through the greasy film pretty well, but I wasn’t sure if I should be using it on that surface. Anyone else tried it there without any issues?

    I’ve used mine on the oven glass a few times now, mostly on the inside of the door and the panel above the stovetop. It’s been fine so far. I just make sure to wipe the glass down with a dry cloth right after steaming so it doesn’t leave streaks or water spots. The heat hasn’t caused any cracks or anything like that on my oven, and I’ve done it maybe four or five times now. I think the main thing is not to hold the steam in one spot for too long, but that’s probably true for any surface. I’d say keep using it if it’s working, just don’t go overboard with how long you blast the same area.

    I would say it is fine since ovens are listed as a safe surface for it.

    Glass is glass, steam is steam. I don’t see why it would be an issue as long as you’re not blasting the same spot for ten minutes straight. The heat from the oven isn’t going to do anything to it either since it’s already hot when you’re using it. You’re fine.

    It’s literally made for ovens, so I’d use it there without overthinking it.

    It’s fine on oven glass, I’ve used mine on the door and the sides without a problem. Just don’t hold it in one spot too long or you’ll end up wiping streaks anyway. I think people worry about it more than they need to.

    I wouldn’t worry about it, the glass handles the heat fine and the steam doesn’t hurt it.

    Oven glass is tempered for a reason, it takes way more abuse than a bit of steam. I have used mine on the door glass a few times and it was fine, no streaks or cracks left behind. The only thing I would say is just keep the nozzle moving and don’t let the heat build up on one spot for too long.

    I’ve had mine on the oven glass a few times now and it’s been fine. The steam does a better job on the baked-on spots than I expected, honestly. I just wipe the glass down after and it looks clear, no streaks or anything. I’d say keep using it the way you are.

    I actually had a slightly different experience with mine on the oven glass. It cleaned fine, no argument there, but I noticed if I wasn’t moving it around enough, it left those little water spots that dried into streaks. Took a bit of extra buffing with a dry cloth to get it looking clear again. Not a big deal, but the glass on the oven door seems to show that more than the countertops or bathroom tiles do.

    Tempered glass is tempered glass. A bit of steam isn’t going to do anything to it that a hot oven hasn’t already done. I’ve used mine on the door a few times and it’s held up fine, no marks or anything. The only thing I’d watch is not letting the steam build up in one spot for too long, but that’s common sense with any glass.

    People worry too much about steam and glass, it’s not going to crack from a few passes.

    Used mine on the oven glass a couple weeks ago and it was fine. The glass didn’t care about the steam at all. Honestly the only thing I’d watch is the drips running down the glass while you’re working, but that’s just a wiping thing, not a damage thing.

    It’s a fair thing to wonder about, but I don’t think the steam itself is the risk. The heat from the oven is way higher than what that thing puts out. I’ve done my door a couple of times and it’s been fine, just keep moving the nozzle so you don’t leave it sitting on one spot too long.

    I think the main thing with the oven glass is just keeping the nozzle moving. I used mine on the inside of the door a while back and it was fine, no marks or anything left behind. The glass itself handled the steam no problem, it’s not like the oven hasn’t seen way hotter temperatures already. I was more careful about the edges where the seal is, just because I didn’t want steam getting into the gap and loosening anything. But the glass surface itself cleaned up really well. I just wiped it down after with a dry cloth so there wasn’t a bunch of moisture sitting on it. I’d say if you already did it and it looked fine, you’re probably good to keep using it that way.

    Used mine on the oven glass a few times now and it was fine. No streaks left behind once I wiped it off. I wouldn’t say it’s the best surface for it, but it definitely gets the job done without damaging anything.

    I don’t see why it would be a problem, the steam is gone by the time it hits the glass anyway. I’d just be careful around the seal and the edges where the glass meets the frame, that’s more of a concern than the glass itself. If it cleaned up the greasy film that quickly, I’d say you’re fine to keep using it there.

    I’ve used mine on the oven glass a few times without any real issues. The steam does the job on the grime. I just wipe it down after and it’s been fine. Not sure why people think it’s some risky surface.

    Good to see most people had the same experience. I’ll probably keep using it on the glass when the oven needs a quick clean.
