Bought a Derila Ergo last week. Feels softer than I expected and my neck seemed supported. Had a bit of foam smell at first but it faded. Not sure how it will hold up after months. Anyone used one for a while?

Not thrilled it was softer than I expected at first, but I’ve had mine about 8 months and it settled into a comfy, supportive feel for side and back sleeping. Smell disappeared quick and the cover still looks fine, no weird flattening yet. If you want long-term reassurance I’d watch the loft after a few months, but so far it’s held up for me.

Thinking about buying the Derila Ergo but I sleep hot and sometimes lie on my stomach. Does it trap heat or end up too high/soft for stomach sleeping after a few months?

Not convinced it’s any cooler than other memory foam pillows, memory foam usually traps heat so be cautious if you run hot. For stomach sleeping I think the ergonomic shape and loft could end up feeling too high or too soft after a few months, maybe not ideal. Could be fine if you sleep on your back or side, but I’m not totally sure.

I run hot and after trying the Derila for a few nights it felt a bit warmer than my old latex pillow. Not unbearable, just more noticeable, so I went back to something thinner. If you’re sensitive to heat I’d double check the return window before committing.

I’ve heard these foams can settle a bit after a few months, so that plush feel might compress into a lower profile over time. Maybe okay for stomach sleeping if you switch around, not totally sure though.

Nice that your neck felt supported. Does the cover seem decent and washable? I avoid pillows with thin covers so curious if this one feels built to last.

Thanks all, I think I’ll keep it for a month; smell’s gone and it’s comfy but maybe a bit warm at night so I’ll see how it settles.

I got mine a couple months ago and it still feels the same to me. The shape seems to hold up fine so far. Cover feels decent, nothing special but not flimsy. I’d say just give it time and see how it goes.
