MemberMy dad has those big thick plastic frames and he uses mine whenever we carpool. No pinching at all, but he does have to push them up a bit before he starts driving because they creep down a little on the bridge of his nose. Still way better than nothing on those bright mornings.

MemberA dedicated low latency mode isn’t really a must have for gaming anyway. My old buds had one and I barely noticed the difference compared to just using normal Bluetooth.

MemberI usually just run the file for the day and save the stone for when the chain is really gone. If I’m out there and it starts pulling to one side or throwing dust, that’s when I dig out the stone. Otherwise the file keeps me cutting fine for a good while.

MemberI went down this road with a couple of old Ryobi packs and ended up using one for a little speaker project. What I noticed was the age of the pack matters way more than the brand or anything. One pack that was maybe four years old still held a charge fine and ran the speaker for a whole weekend. The other one, which was older, dropped off a cliff after about twenty minutes. So it’s a bit of a gamble depending on how the cells have held up. You won’t really know until you try it. As for frying your phone, that wasn’t what I worried about. I just used a little USB adapter that plugs into the pack and it worked. The main thing for me was whether the pack itself was still in decent shape. If it charges up normally and doesn’t get hot, that’s a good sign. Mine didn’t, so I just used it for the speaker where a sudden cutoff wasn’t a big deal.

MemberI grabbed a cheap 10k brick from the drawer and it kept mine going through most of an afternoon on the low setting. Anything bigger than that and you’re basically carrying a second device around, which got old for me pretty fast.

MemberI used to just park mine too and one spring it wouldn’t start, so now I dump whatever’s left into my car and run the mower until it quits. Takes me like five minutes and I haven’t had a spring headache since. The stabilizer thing works too, I just never remember to buy it.
