MemberI’m not sure the app problem is really about the internet at all. When ours cut out last month, the plugs came back fine once the router rebooted, so the wifi was the weak link, not the connection. A physical switch still being there is the only thing I actually count on.

MemberI’m not sure why some people act like these fit every frame out there. Mine went on my thicker pair but the arms pushed out enough that I had to adjust them every few minutes, so I ended up only using them in my thinner backup pair.

MemberI’m not sure the battery damage thing is as big a deal as people make it sound. I ran an adapter on and off for about a year and my batteries were fine, no swelling or weird charging issues. The bigger annoyance was just the extra bulk making the tool feel awkward to hold.

MemberI’m not sure why everyone acts like there’s only one right way. I’ve been putting Sta-Bil in my gas can all season, not just at storage time, and that seems to keep everything from going stale in the first place.

MemberI’m not sure the built-in screen is worth counting on outdoors. I’ve seen enough footage previews go dark on bright days that I’d assume it’s mostly for quick checks in shade. The phone app being an option doesn’t mean the screen is useless, but I wouldn’t buy it expecting a clear view at noon.
