I was using one of those foil-lined sleeves before I got the Guardality card. Honestly they both seem to do the same thing, but the card is way easier to just toss in my wallet and forget about. Anyone notice if the Guardality actually blocks better or worse than the old sleeve style stuff?

I think people overthink this stuff. If the sleeve worked for you then the card will probably be fine too. I just like that I don’t have to fiddle with it every time I grab a card.

I switched from a foil sleeve to the card a while back and haven’t noticed any difference in how well it blocks. The convenience of just tossing it in my wallet is worth it to me.

I dunno, I feel like people get way too caught up in the details. If it fits in your wallet and you’re not getting scanned, that’s pretty much the end of the story for me.

I just keep mine in the same pocket as my cards. The sleeve was always sliding off or getting crumpled in my bag.

Honestly I think a lot of it comes down to how much you care about the bulk. The sleeve did the job for me too but it was annoying to fish out of my bag every time. The card just sits there and I don’t have to think about it.

Eh, it’s probably fine. The sleeve worked, this works, I wouldn’t lose sleep over it.

I mean, if you’re not having issues with either one, it’s probably fine. People get way too hung up on this stuff.

I get the convenience argument, but I actually prefer the sleeve. The card adds a little extra thickness to my wallet that bugs me, and the sleeve just sits behind everything without changing the feel.

I actually don’t mind the extra thickness from the card. My wallet was already kind of bulky so it doesn’t make a noticeable difference to me. The sleeve was always a pain to keep in place.

Bit of a pain swapping cards between wallets if you carry more than one, though. The sleeve just stays where it is.

I still have an old sleeve in my travel bag and honestly I never noticed a difference when I swapped to the card. The card is just less annoying to keep in my wallet day to day.

I don’t know, the thickness thing never really bothered me with the card. My wallet was already a bit stuffed anyway so it just blended in.

The card is just way less fiddly. I got one because I kept forgetting to put the sleeve back in my wallet after using a card and I don’t miss dealing with that.

Yeah I skimmed through the replies and it sounds like most people are just picking whichever fits their routine better. I’ve had the card for a couple weeks now and honestly I haven’t thought about it once since I put it in my wallet, which is kind of the point for me. The old sleeve worked fine but I’d forget to move it around. I’ll probably just stick with the card and call it done.
