AiraBreeze water level window, is it supposed to fog up?

Mine does the exact same thing, so I’d say it’s normal. I’ve had mine for about two months and the window has looked hazy almost the whole time. It’s not a huge deal since the water line is still visible, but I remember thinking the same thing when I first noticed it.

What I figured out is that it’s just moisture sitting on the inside of the plastic. The air inside the tank is obviously wet and the window is a different temperature, so it fogs up like a cold drink glass. I tried wiping it from the outside and that obviously didn’t change anything. I’ve just accepted it.

I do wonder if it’ll get worse over time or if there’s a way to clean the inside of the window without taking the whole thing apart. But honestly, for what it is, I can still tell when I need to refill it and that’s what really matters to me.

If it’s still readable after it’s been running a while, I wouldn’t call it a problem. Moisture collects on the inside of those windows on basically anything with a water tank. Mine started doing it within the first week and it never got worse than just being a bit hazy. As long as you can tell where the line is, it’s fine.

Foggy window doesn’t really bother me. As long as I can see the line, it’s doing its job.

Mine does this too and honestly I just assumed it’s the cool air meeting the warmer plastic or whatever. The line is still easy enough to read so it hasn’t really bugged me. I just wipe the outside once in a while and leave it alone.

Mine does the same thing after it’s been running for a couple hours, especially if the room is warm and the water in the tank is cool. I think it’s just moisture building up on the inside of the plastic, nothing more than that. The line stays visible on mine too, just a bit hazy around the edges. I did notice it gets a little worse if I leave the unit sitting with water in it for a few days without running it. When I empty it out and let it dry completely, the window clears right up. So if it bothers you, that might be worth trying, but for normal daily use I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s just the nature of having a window on a water tank. As long as you can still read the level, it’s fine.

As long as I can tell when it needs a refill, it doesn’t bother me. Probably just condensation or something from the temperature difference, nothing that seems like a defect or anything.
