Can SpyFocus record continuously without overheating?

A few hours should be fine. These little cams get warm if you push them, but they’re not going to melt unless you leave it baking in direct sun or something. I would not overthink it.

I’d probably keep it to shorter stretches if you can, just to be safe. I’ve left mine running while I popped out for an hour or so and it was fine, but I never pushed it much past that.

The battery is honestly the bigger thing to think about if you’re doing a multi-hour stretch. I found that out the hard way. As long as it’s not crammed into a tight spot, I wouldn’t stress too much about it shutting down on you.

I think the battery dying is probably the bigger issue than heat if you’re going for a few hours straight. Mine has gotten noticeably warm to the touch but never enough to worry me, it just drains pretty fast when it’s recording nonstop.

I’d just charge it fully and maybe test it once at home while you’re still around to see how it feels.
