Does Repellio work on mosquitoes too or is that just marketing?

Honestly, I’ve had mine plugged in for a few months now and I feel like I’ve noticed fewer mosquitoes buzzing around the living room at night. Could be coincidence, but I’m not complaining.

I think the mosquito claim is probably one of those “technically possible in a lab” things they slap on the box to make it sound more impressive. I wouldn’t buy it expecting that to actually make a difference.

I only got mine a couple weeks ago, so I can’t say much about mosquitoes yet, but I did notice fewer gnats around the kitchen sink right away. That alone made me curious enough to keep it plugged in and see what happens over time.

I’ll be honest, I mostly got mine for ants too, but I did notice I’m not swatting at mosquitoes as much when I’m reading in bed at night. It’s not like they’re gone, but there’s definitely less buzzing around my ears. For something that just plugs in and hums away, I’ll take that as a win.

I think it depends on what you’re expecting. I’ve had mine running for a few months and I’m not sure if it’s doing much for mosquitoes specifically, but I also haven’t really tested it. I just leave it plugged in and hope for the best.

I think people expect too much if they think one little plug-in is going to clear the whole yard of mosquitoes. It probably helps a bit in a small room, but I wouldn’t count on it for outdoor use or anything.

I mean, I figure if it’s on the box they probably tested it a bit. I got mine for spiders mostly, but I haven’t really noticed a mosquito problem since I plugged it in, so maybe it helps. Not like I’m doing a science experiment over here, but it seems fine.
