How well does the Qinux Talkbuds handle fast speakers?

I keep seeing mixed stuff about the Qinux Talkbuds and I’m wondering about real-world use. I tend to talk fast and also run into people who rattle off sentences. Does the AI keep up okay or does it get lost? I don’t expect perfection but I don’t want it to lag so much the conversation feels awkward.

I think it handles fast talkers better than I expected, honestly. I’m a fast talker myself and I’ve had a few conversations where it kept up without any awkward pauses. Not perfect every time but it doesn’t feel like the AI is falling behind constantly.

Works fine for me. I talk fast and it didn’t choke up or anything. Not perfect but way better than I thought it’d be.

I’m not sure it’s as smooth as people say. Had a call with a friend who talks a mile a minute and it kept cutting out mid-sentence. Could’ve been my connection, but it wasn’t great.

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal honestly. Mine keeps up fine with most people I talk to.

Mine’s been fine with fast talkers. I had a couple calls where someone was rattling off instructions and it didn’t really stutter or drop out on me. Not flawless, but good enough that I don’t think about it during the conversation.

Honestly I think it’s fine for most conversations. I wouldn’t overthink it too much.

Mine lags a bit with really fast talkers, especially if there’s background noise. Not enough to ruin the conversation but I definitely notice it.

I skimmed through the replies and honestly, I think it depends a lot on your connection and how much background noise there is. Mine handles most fast talkers fine unless they’re really mumbling or there’s a lot of street noise around me. I wouldn’t worry too much unless you’re in a really loud spot.

I’ve only used mine a handful of times so far, but I noticed it stumbles a little when someone talks really fast. Not enough to kill the conversation, just a small delay here and there. Might depend on the language pair or something.

I’d probably just use speaker mode if you’re worried about lag, takes the pressure off the AI keeping up. Works okay for me that way.

Haven’t used mine with a ton of fast talkers yet, but I did notice it gets a bit confused if someone switches languages mid-sentence. That tripped it up more than speed alone.

Alright, appreciate everyone jumping in with their thoughts. Sounds like it’s not perfect for every single super-fast talker, but it’s not a total disaster either, which is kind of what I figured. I’ll probably just grab a pair and see how it goes for my own use, seems like the only way to know for sure.
