MemberI’m looking at the DrFlexa for everyday support, but I keep wondering if the anti-slip grips are enough to keep it from sliding down after an hour or so of walking. Anyone tried it for longer periods without having to adjust it constantly?

Noah KentMemberI haven’t used it for a super long walk yet, but I wore mine around the house for a few hours and it didn’t budge. The silicone grips seem to work fine for normal moving around, so I’d be surprised if it slid down just from walking longer.

no_sleepParticipantI wore mine for a couple hours of walking around a market and it didn’t budge. The silicone grips seem to do their job, at least on my leg. Might depend on how tight you strap it though.

MemberI haven’t taken mine on a really long walk yet, but it stayed in place fine during a few hours of casual errands. The silicone grips seem to do the job for normal movement. I could see it maybe slipping if you were really active or sweating a lot, but for just walking it feels pretty secure.

MarkD87MemberI’ve worn mine on a few longer walks, like an hour or so, and it didn’t really slide much. The straps stay tight enough that I don’t have to mess with it constantly. Seems fine for daily use, honestly.

MemberI had the same worry when I got mine, but I’ve worn it on a few long walks around the neighborhood and didn’t have to yank it back up once. The silicone strips seem to do their job as long as you don’t have it cranked too loose. Works fine for me.

Mike in TXMemberI think it stays put decently for the first hour or so, but I wouldn’t call it rock solid. I wore mine around the house for a few hours and still had to tug it back up once. It’s fine for a walk around the block but I wouldn’t trust it for a full day on my feet.

MemberI haven’t tested mine on a super long walk yet, mostly just short errands, but it hasn’t budged on me so far. I’d guess it depends on how tight you get the straps.

Rob CMemberMine doesn’t go anywhere during my walks. Seems like the straps and grip work well enough for me.

MemberGood to know it’s working out for most people on longer walks. I think I’ll just go ahead and try it myself.

LiamWParticipantI haven’t had mine slip much during walks, but I’m also not power walking or anything. Just normal pace.

MemberI think people overthink this a bit. As long as you get the straps snug enough, it’s not gonna go anywhere. I’ve worn mine for a few hours at a time and never had to mess with it. Maybe I just got lucky, but it’s really not been an issue for me.
