Dustaclean for keyboard crumbs, does it actually work?

    I keep seeing the Dustaclean pop up and I’m tempted for desk stuff. My keyboard gets crumbs and dust in the gaps and I’m tired of turning it upside down. Does the crevice nozzle actually reach between keys or is it too bulky? I don’t need it for anything heavy, just small dry messes.

    Mine reaches okay but it’s kinda fiddly between keys.

    I’d probably skip it for keyboard crumbs specifically. The slim nozzle does get down there, but you end up chasing each key instead of just doing a quick pass, which gets old fast. For small dry messes I usually just grab a brush or a damp cloth and call it done.

    I’ve had mine for a couple months and the slim nozzle does get in between the keys fine. It’s not as fast as a full size vac obviously, but it works. My keyboard had a solid layer of chip crumbs and dust from like a year of desk lunches and it pulled all that out without me having to flip anything upside down. The nozzle is thinner than I expected honestly, fits in the gaps on my regular keyboard no problem. Takes maybe a minute or two to run across the whole thing. I also use it on my laptop keyboard sometimes and that’s a little tighter but still fine. For small dry messes like you’re describing it’s exactly the kind of thing it’s made for. I keep mine in a drawer and grab it whenever stuff builds up.

    For keyboard crumbs, I’d rather just use a brush or one of those sticky gel things. Vacuuming around keys sounds tedious no matter how slim the nozzle is. I’m not the type to chase every little crumb with a tool, so that matters more to me than whether it technically fits between the keys. I have a small handheld for car stuff and it’s fine for that, but I wouldn’t buy one specifically for a keyboard. If you already want it for desks and other small messes, the keyboard thing is a bonus, not a reason on its own.
