Nunawave Oral Care Pro – does it help with gum sensitivity?

I always thought those red light things were mostly for gum inflammation, not really sensitivity. Sensitivity usually comes from the teeth themselves, like worn enamel or exposed roots, so a mouthguard probably won’t fix that part. Might still help if your gums are just irritated though.

Mine came with a little tray to keep it clean which I didn’t expect. Sensitivity wise it’s done more for my gums feeling less tender overall than fixing the sharp zings when I bite into something cold. So depends what kind of sensitivity you mean.

Sensitivity from brushing is usually a sign your enamel or roots are involved, so a red light device is not really targeting that. The Nunawave is more about the gum tissue itself. I have used mine for a few months and it made my gums feel less irritated overall, but it did not fix the sharp feeling when I hit a certain spot near my canine. If it is more of a zing on the tooth itself, I would not expect this to be the thing that solves it. Still glad I have mine for general gum care though.
