I’d keep the subscription and not feel bad about it. I tried the home cooking thing for a couple months with my cat and it was fine, but I ended up spending way more at the grocery store than I expected because you can’t really buy tiny amounts of everything you need. The subscription just shows up and I don’t think about it. The one thing I’ll say is I do occasionally add a little plain chicken or fish on top as a treat, so I get that feeling of knowing what’s in at least part of the bowl without turning it into a whole meal plan. For me that’s a decent middle ground. Cooking full meals just wasn’t the relaxing thing I thought it would be, it felt like one more chore on the list.

I still think a diverter has its place even for garden water. The stuff that washes off the roof first is pretty nasty, and I’d rather that not sit in the barrel. One extra piece doesn’t seem like that much hassle to me.

I bought these for my dad who has big plastic frames and he ended up stealing my mom’s thinner pair instead. He said the width was fine but the lenses sat right on his eyebrows which drove him nuts. Might depend on how the frames sit on your face more than the thickness.

I’d give it at least two weeks, not just one. That weird feeling is usually your neck getting used to a different shape. I’d set a date in my head and if it still feels off by then, I’d return it. No point dragging it out for a month.
