MemberHonestly the subscription seems easier, and my dog didn’t care either way.

MemberI check the return page before I even look at the product specs. Sounds backwards but it saved me once, the window was only a week so I just moved on. If a company won’t give you a reasonable trial, that tells you something.

MemberI keep mine on a cheap plastic boot tray from the dollar store. Not for leaks really, more because refilling it over carpet is just asking for a spill. It was like two bucks so I don’t think about it.

MemberHalf full still works fine for me.

MemberPlacement barely mattered for mine. He barks from all over and it still caught him fine, so I never bothered moving it around.

MemberI just wouldn’t run the trimmer while the grass is that wet. GFCI or not, it’s one of those things that isn’t worth finding out about the hard way.
14 de October de 2026 at 15:57 in reply to: Matsato finger hole: does it get in the way when chopping? #15844Hannah B.
MemberI don’t own a Matsato, but I’ve borrowed a knife with a hole like that. The hole didn’t really get in the way of chopping, but it did change how I naturally held the blade. With a normal santoku my hand just falls into place. With the hole version I kept wanting to line my finger up with it, which felt a bit fussy for quick prep work. Not bad, just different. If you’re the kind of cook who likes a specific grip, you’ll probably either love it or find it mildly distracting. Since it’s your first santoku I’d say the hole is more of a preference thing than a make or break feature. The blade itself matters way more than that little gap.

MemberI picked these up mostly for podcasts, but I did try them with a couple of games on my laptop just to see. There is a slight delay if you’re looking for it, but for the stuff I play it wasn’t a problem. I didn’t find any gaming toggle in the touch controls though, so if that’s a dealbreaker for you it might be worth checking before buying. The sound itself is decent for the price, bass is a bit heavy for my taste but fine.

MemberFor me the schedule is what keeps things calm, not the other way around. My crew knows when food shows up and they mostly leave each other alone the rest of the day. Without it they were constantly circling the kitchen and getting on each other’s nerves.
