Okay weirdly picky question but has anyone used Heater Pro X in a bedroom overnight for months? I’ve read about the automatic shutoff and tip-over protection but I’m wary about it cutting out or making noise while I sleep. It seems quiet at first but I’m not sure if the fan gets louder after a while or if people had failures. Does it actually help lower heating bills if you only run it at night or am I just wasting electricity? If you own one, please say how long you’ve had it and whether you left it on while asleep, thanks.

Had mine by the bed for a few months and it’s basically silent overnight. Never had it shut off or suddenly get louder while I slept.

Had one for a few months and the best thing is how idiot-proof it is; plug it in, point it, done. Quiet enough at night and super easy to move between rooms. Don’t expect it to heat a cold whole house though, it’s basically a spot warmer.

Had one for a few months and leave it on overnight. It’s nearly silent except for a soft click when the thermostat cycles, which I barely notice now.

Bought one last winter and left it on overnight a few times; mostly quiet but the fan can hum so I’m not convinced it’ll slash your heating bill unless you actually turn down the main thermostat. For the price it’s fine as a little spot heater though.

Had one for about six months and I do leave it on overnight fairly often with no issues. For the price it warms my small room fine, so worth it, but don’t expect it to slash your heating bill if you’d otherwise run central heat. Safety stuff seems solid and I’ve never had it randomly cut out.

Thanks everyone, that helped me decide. I kept it and have run it overnight a few nights; the fan has a steady hum that bugs me if I’m a light sleeper but otherwise it’s been fine so far, I think. I’ll use a timer and lower the thermostat, though I’m not totally sure it’ll save me a ton long term.

I’ve had mine a couple weeks and just leave it running all night. It’s quiet enough that it doesn’t wake me up, and my room stays warm without the central heat kicking on. Hard to say about the bill yet though.

I’d be more worried about the noise than the safety stuff. The fan hum gets old fast if you’re a light sleeper.
