MemberMade the jump from my old MX Anywhere to the Logitech MX 3S for laptop use and office stuff. It’s quieter and the scroll wheel feels nicer, plus pairing with three devices is handy, but Bluetooth on my work laptop is a bit iffy compared to the USB receiver I used to have. Battery life is great and USB-C quick charge saved me once, though I kind of miss a receiver being included for travel. Anyone else find the Bluetooth varies between machines or is it just me?

MemberBluetooth seems hit or miss for me too, not sure if it’s the mouse or my laptops. Small gripe: the matte finish shows fingerprints and gets grubby fast.

EthanFreeMemberSurprisingly comfortable for long sessions. My wrist didn’t start aching like with other compact mice.

emily_rParticipantI don’t think the missing receiver is a big deal. Bluetooth plus USB-C charging usually covers travel just fine.

MemberI don’t think the MX 3S itself is inherently iffy. Mine’s been fine across a couple of different laptops, so maybe it’s more the specific machine or its Bluetooth stack. Not totally sure though.

MarkD87MemberUpgraded to the MX 3S as well and love the quiet clicks, but Bluetooth on my work laptop is a bit flaky too; I think it’s more the laptop/drivers than the mouse, maybe interference. Kinda miss a receiver for travel, not totally sure why Logitech skipped it. Overall it works fine most days.

Mike89ParticipantBluetooth’s spotty for me too, and I really miss the tiny USB receiver for travel.

LiamWParticipantYep, Bluetooth performance changes between machines for me too. Wheel and battery are great, but I miss having a receiver when traveling. Depends what you need it for.

MemberYep, Bluetooth definitely varies between laptops for me too. But I disagree it’s a major problem, battery life and the scroll feel make it a keeper even without a receiver.

MemberHonestly I mostly use mine with the USB receiver on my personal laptop so I haven’t really run into the Bluetooth thing as much. The quiet clicks are nice though, my coworkers definitely appreciate that 😅
