Mike89ParticipantSo I got the ODIN SafeWave EMF sticker for my phone a while back and it’s been fine, but I was thinking about slapping one on my tablet too. Just wondering if the size of the sticker looks weird on a bigger device or if it’s not that noticeable. Also, does it stick okay if the tablet has a textured back or should I just put it on a case? I’m not too worried about it doing anything crazy, just want to make sure it doesn’t look out of place.

MemberI put one on my iPad about two months ago and honestly forgot it was there until I read this thread. It’s small enough that it doesn’t really stand out, even on the bigger surface. I have mine on a case with a bit of texture and it hasn’t budged, so you should be fine either way.

MemberI’d skip the case, just put it on the bare back and forget about it.

MemberIf you’re that worried about how it looks, just put it on the back and don’t stare at it. I’ve got one on my Kindle and one on my phone, and I don’t notice either of them after the first day. The textured back might be an issue for the adhesive, but a case would probably hide it anyway, which kind of defeats the point.

MemberSticker size is not really the issue. On a tablet it just looks like a small dark square on the back, pretty easy to ignore. I’ve had one on my laptop for a few months now and I forget it’s even there most of the time.
If your tablet has a textured back, I’d skip the bare device and put it on a case. The adhesive is decent but it needs a smooth surface to really grab. I learned that the hard way with a phone that had a rough finish. It kept catching on the edge and started peeling after a week. On a case it’s been fine, no movement at all.
I would not worry about it looking weird. It’s not some giant sticker that screams for attention. You’ll notice it for the first day and then never again.

MemberI put one on my laptop a few months back and honestly it just blends in with whatever random stickers are already on there. The adhesive held up fine on the smooth surface, but I’d probably stick it on a case if your tablet has that grippy texture. Easier to swap it over if you ever change cases anyway.

MemberTextured back is fine, it holds. Size barely shows on a tablet.

MemberThe textured back thing is a non-issue, honestly. I have mine on a pretty rough silicone case and it hasn’t budged in months. As for the size, it’s way less noticeable than you think it’s going to be. The sticker is so small that on a tablet it just looks like a little dark square, nobody is going to inspect it that closely.

Sam ReadsMemberI think a lot of that depends on the color of the tablet honestly. Mine is dark so the sticker just sort of disappears into it. I’d probably be more annoyed if I had a lighter colored device. As for textured backs, I haven’t had an issue, but I also didn’t put mine directly on the tablet.

Nina_gadgetMemberI’d just put it on a case, honestly. I’ve got one on my kids’ tablet and it’s on a thick silicone case, no issues with it peeling or anything. The sticker itself is small enough that it doesn’t really stand out, even on a bigger device.

MemberMine is on a case since the tablet back felt too smooth, still there after a few months.

MemberI’ve got one on my tablet and honestly the size thing never even crossed my mind until I saw this thread. It’s such a small little disc that it just looks like part of the design, especially if you don’t put it dead center. I stuck mine near the corner on the back and I forget it’s there half the time. My tablet has a smooth back though, so I can’t speak to the textured part, but I did put one on my kindle which has that soft rubbery feel and it’s held on fine for a few months now. No peeling or anything weird.
I think if you’re already used to seeing it on your phone, the tablet will feel no different. Just pick a spot that’s out of the way and you’re good.

Emma JarrisMemberI put one on my iPad a couple months ago and honestly forgot it was there until I saw this thread. The size really doesn’t stand out on a bigger device, it just looks like a little dot. Mine is on a plain case, not the tablet itself, since I swap cases sometimes. No issues with it staying put so far.

TommyWiresMemberI figured I’d just toss mine on the back of the tablet case since the tablet itself has that matte finish and I wasn’t sure how well it would grab. It’s been a couple weeks and it’s still sitting flat, no peeling at the edges. As for the look, it’s small enough that I don’t really notice it unless I’m looking for it.

MemberThe texture question is probably more about the adhesive than the sticker itself. I put mine on a tablet that has a bit of a rougher plastic back and it’s held up fine for a couple months now. It’s really small, so it just looks like a little dot from a distance. I wouldn’t overthink the placement too much.

Mike89ParticipantGood to know Im not the only one who just stuck it on and forgot about it. I ended up putting mine on the case since the tablet back felt a bit slippery and its been fine so far. Looks like a little dot, nobody even notices it.
