Just got my Nunawave Oral Care Pro and I’m trying to figure out the best routine. I know it has different modes and intensity levels, but I’m not sure how long I should be using it each session. Do you guys just follow the timer or do you have a set time that works for you? I’m guessing it’s one of those things you get a feel for after a few tries, but I’d love to hear what others are doing.

I just set the timer and let it run. Honestly, the auto shutoff is the only thing stopping me from falling asleep with the thing in my mouth, so I’m not about to start timing it manually. I figure the engineers who made it probably picked that duration for a reason.

The one thing I’ll say is don’t overthink the intensity levels. I cranked it up the first week thinking more light equals better results and my gums felt a little warm and weird after. Dropped it back down a notch and it’s been fine since.

If you’re the type who needs to check your phone every few minutes, that’s going to annoy you. Just pop it in and zone out for the session.

I wouldn’t overthink it. I just do one cycle and move on with my day. It’s not like I’m trying to hit some exact minute mark or anything. As long as I get through the session without falling asleep, I consider it a win. You’ll find your rhythm after a couple of days.

I usually just wing it honestly. Some days I’ll do the full cycle, other days I’ll cut it short if I’m rushing. I don’t think it needs to be super precise, just consistent. The timer is there if you want it, but I wouldn’t stress about hitting an exact minute every time.

The whole “how long should I use it” thing feels like overthinking it to me. The modes are preset for a reason, so I just pick one and let it do its thing. You’re right that you get a feel for it, but honestly, the difference between 5 and 10 minutes probably isn’t something you’ll notice day to day.

I just do the full timer and call it done. Probably not the most scientific approach, but it’s easy enough to remember that way.

I pretty much just run one cycle and stop. Didn’t really overthink the timing, the preset seems fine for what it is. I figure as long as I’m consistent with it, the exact minutes probably don’t matter that much.

I just run the full cycle and don’t really think about it. The timer is right there for a reason. I guess you could stop early but I don’t see the point unless your mouth is getting tired or something.

The only thing I’ll add is that I use it more on days when my gums feel off after a rough meal or too much coffee, and less when everything feels fine. Same time though, just fewer sessions. I don’t think you need to hit some exact minute count every time. As long as you’re consistent, it probably works out.

I actually think the timer is longer than it needs to be. I usually cut mine short and it still feels like it does the job. Maybe I’m missing out on something, but I’d rather not sit there with it in my mouth for the full cycle every day.

The preset timer is fine, but I usually cut mine short. I think the full cycle is more than my gums need most days, and I still notice the same effect after a couple of minutes. Once you get used to it, you just know when you’re done.

I think I usually just eyeball it and stop when it feels like enough, which is probably not the most precise way to do it. Some days I go shorter, some days I let it run longer. I’m not totally sure I notice a big difference either way, but I haven’t had any issues so far.

I usually just stop when the session feels done, which honestly varies day to day. Some mornings I barely get through half before I’m over it, other times I let it run longer. Probably not the ideal way to do it, but it seems to work okay for me so far.

I think the timer is a good starting point, but I don’t stress about it too much. I usually just aim for the full cycle when I remember, but some days I stop halfway if I’m in a rush. Works fine either way for me.

I think the timer is a decent guide but I’ve found myself using it more as a suggestion than a rule. I usually end up cutting it short most days, not because it’s too long or anything, just because I get distracted or decide I’ve had enough. I’ve noticed that even when I don’t do the full cycle, my gums feel less irritated after a few days of consistent use. Not totally sure if the shorter sessions are doing the heavy lifting or if just the habit of using it at all is what helps. I’d say start with the full timer for the first week to get a feel for it, then adjust based on how your mouth feels. That’s what I did and it’s been working fine for me so far.

I just follow the timer and don’t overthink it. Three minutes or whatever it is, that’s what I do. I figure the people who designed it probably had a reason for setting it where they did, even if I’m not entirely convinced this red light stuff is doing much beyond maybe helping with my grinding.

I tried cutting it short a few times when I was in a hurry and honestly didn’t notice a difference, but I also didn’t notice a difference when I did the full cycle. So I just let it run and brush my teeth or do something else while it’s on.

The way I see it, the timer exists so you don’t have to make a decision. I’ve got enough decisions to make during the day, so I’ll take the default.

Good to see everyone’s got their own rhythm with it. I’ve had mine about a week now and I’m still just using the timer most days, but it’s nice to know I’m not locked into it if I’m in a hurry. Probably overthinking it, but at least the thing isn’t collecting dust.
