MemberI sit in a cubicle all day and the AC barely reaches my corner. Would the Breezi AC actually make a difference if I keep it on my desk up close, or is it more of a gimmick for that kind of setup?

Emma ReadsMemberHonestly, I’ve got one on my desk and it’s fine for that close-up use. Not life-changing or anything, but it definitely makes the air feel less stale. I’d say it’s not a gimmick if you just want something small for your own corner.

MemberHonestly, I think people overthink these things. If your cubicle is small and you can put it right next to you, it’s fine for taking the edge off the stale air. It’s not gonna turn your corner into a walk-in freezer, but it’s also not some useless gimmick.

MemberI just use mine with cold water and it’s enough to feel a difference right in front of me. I wouldn’t say it’s a gimmick, but I also wouldn’t expect it to cool the whole cubicle. Mostly I like having it for the little bit of airflow when the office AC is being stubborn.

Emma JarrisMemberI mean, if you’re right next to it and the office AC is basically useless, it’s not going to cool the whole cubicle down like a real AC would, but it does make the air feel a bit less stuffy. I think it’s more about having something blowing directly on you than actually lowering the temp much. I’d probably just try it and see if you like the breeze.

Luis_A91MemberI picked one up for my desk a couple weeks ago and it does the job for me. It’s not going to make your cubicle feel like winter, but with ice water it keeps the air moving enough that I don’t feel like I’m melting by lunch.

MemberI think it could work if you’re sitting right next to it, but I wouldn’t expect much more than a gentle breeze. I’ve seen mixed stuff online about whether the mist actually helps or just makes things damp. Probably fine for taking the edge off a stuffy corner, but I’m not totally sure it’d feel like real AC.

StanMemberI picked one up mostly for when I’m working from hotel rooms, but I’ve used it at a desk before too. If you sit close enough and fill it with cold water, you’ll definitely feel it on your face and arms. It’s not going to fix a whole dead zone in the office, but for just your own little spot it does the trick.

MemberI wouldn’t count on it feeling like real AC. Those things just blow air over some water, so if your office is already warm and dry, it’s not going to do much.

Tom BriggsMemberI got one for my desk a few months back and it’s fine if you’re sitting right next to it. The mist setting actually helps a bit when the air gets stuffy. Not a total game changer but better than nothing for sure.

MemberI think it depends how close you keep it. If it’s right on your desk and pointed at you, it’s probably fine for some relief. I haven’t tested one in a cubicle myself though.

MemberI’ve seen a couple people using them in my office and they seem to keep the person happy enough. Not a full AC replacement but for a desk setup it’s probably better than just a fan.

MemberI’d just try it and see. For the price it’s probably worth a shot if your corner is that bad. I think it’ll feel decent up close, but don’t expect it to cool the whole cube.

Carla82MemberHonestly I’d say just try it. It’s not going to cool the whole cubicle or anything, but if it’s right on your desk and pointed at you, it’ll probably take the edge off enough to make the day less annoying.
