    Got a Qinux BittOne recently. Screen and controls are nice for the price, but battery life feels weak and I worry about joystick durability. Anyone run heavier emulators on this or used it plugged into a TV for long sessions, how does it hold up?

    Don’t expect smooth software. Browsing big ROM lists is laggy and the menus feel clunky.

    Seems fine for casual play, but I’m skeptical the battery and joysticks will hold up under heavy use. Not totally sure about long TV sessions either, maybe someone who’s actually used it plugged in can chime in.

    Thanks for the tips, quick update: hooked it to the TV for a couple hours last night. Picture was fine but the unit got pretty warm and the audio sounded a bit flat on my set.

    Hmm, I’ve only used mine for shorter bursts so I can’t really speak to long TV sessions. I think the battery is okay for what I do, but I get why you’d be worried about the joysticks if you’re pushing it hard. Maybe it’s fine for lighter games though, not totally sure.

    I mean, I haven’t tried mine on a TV yet but the battery does seem to drain pretty fast even just playing a bit here and there. Not sure it’s really built for marathon sessions.

    Honestly I’ve been using mine for a few hours on TV with a controller and it’s been fine for me. No issues with the screen or input lag or anything like that. Battery life isn’t great but if you keep it plugged in it does the job. I’d keep it.

    Mine’s been fine on the TV with a controller for a couple hours at a time. Battery life is what it is, but I haven’t had issues with the sticks yet.

    Pretty much what I figured. Battery is what it is, you just work around it. I’ve been using mine mostly plugged in at home, so it’s not a dealbreaker for me. Good enough for what I paid.

    I’ve had mine hooked up for a few evenings playing some older arcade stuff and it’s been fine. The unit gets a bit warm after a while but nothing that worried me. Joysticks still feel okay on mine, but I’m not super rough with them.
