SarahMParticipantGot a WineCork Pro as a gift and it seems handy for dinners. Opens bottles fast but I’m a bit skeptical about long term use. Anyone had problems with synthetic corks or it getting stuck? Any simple tips to keep it working?

MarkD87MemberI use mine a few times a week and haven’t had it jam on synthetic corks. Occasionally the spiral doesn’t bite well if the foil or top is messy, so you end up re-doing the pull once in a while. Still worth keeping for casual dinners, imo.

HanSoloParticipantI got one as a gift and it’s handy for opening bottles at dinners. Main annoyance was battery life and it started feeling a bit flimsy after about a year, but for casual use I’d keep it.

AnnaKParticipantI use mine for casual dinners and it’s handy. It’s louder than I thought but small enough to keep in a drawer, and the grip is comfortable. I’d keep it.

no_sleepParticipantNot life-changing, but handy for casual dinners. Toss it in a drawer and forget it until guests arrive.

SarahMParticipantThanks, helpful replies. Good to know about synthetic corks and the noise.

Chris MillerMemberI haven’t had any trouble with synthetic corks myself, but I can see how it might be hit or miss depending on the brand. I’d say just keep using it, if it jams you’ll know soon enough.
