I’ve been using my MixMate for a few weeks now and the lid doesn’t snap on quite as tight as it did at first. Not leaking or anything yet, just a bit loose. Anyone else notice this or is it just mine?

Mine feels the same. Not loose enough to bother me yet, but it definitely doesn’t snap like it did day one. Still seals fine when I shake it, so I’m not worried about it.

Hmm, I haven’t really noticed that on mine. Still feels pretty tight after a couple months. Maybe you just got a slightly different batch or something.

I’ve noticed mine feels a little less snug too, but it still seals fine. Kind of wonder if it’s just the rubber settling in after a few uses.

Huh, I haven’t really paid that much attention to mine. Still seals fine when I toss it in my bag, so I guess I just never noticed.

Mine’s been fine so far. Lid still feels solid after a month of daily use. Maybe yours just needs a bit more wear to settle in.

I barely notice it on mine, but I also don’t really pay that close attention to how tight the lid feels. Works fine when I shake it up so I guess it’s fine. Probably just the rubber wearing in a bit.

Honestly, I’d probably just keep using it until it actually leaks. A lot of stuff loosens up a tiny bit after the first few weeks, doesn’t always mean it’s going to fail.

I haven’t noticed any loosening on mine, and I’ve been using it for a couple of months now. Still feels secure when I close it.

Mine’s fine so far but I also haven’t been checking it that closely. Kinda feels like one of those things where if it’s not leaking yet, it’s probably fine for a while longer.

I’ve only had mine for about two weeks so maybe it’s still too new to tell, but it still feels snug when I close it. Could be that the seal just needs a little time to settle in, like you said. I’d probably just keep an eye on it and not worry unless it starts leaking.

Hmm, I think I know what you mean. Mine hasn’t gotten loose yet, but I’ve only had it for a few weeks, so maybe I just haven’t used it enough to notice. I do feel like the seal is still pretty solid when I close it, so I’m not too worried. It still mixes my drinks fine, so I’m just gonna keep using it as usual.

I’d probably just keep an eye on it for now. If it’s not leaking, it might just be the seal settling in after a few weeks.

Huh, sounds like I might’ve just gotten a slightly wonky one. I’ll just keep using it and see if it gets worse. Thanks for the replies, though.

I’d probably just keep using it unless it actually starts leaking. Sometimes stuff like that just settles in and doesn’t get worse.
