MemberI’ve been using the ODIN SafeWave EMF on my router for a couple of weeks and haven’t noticed any drop in speed. But I’m a bit skeptical about the claim that it doesn’t interfere with Wi-Fi at all. Has anyone actually tested this or noticed any issues? Just curious if it’s really as seamless as they say.

MemberNo issues on my end either. I stuck one on my router about a month ago and ran a few speed tests since then, mostly out of curiosity. Numbers looked the same as before, so whatever it’s doing, it isn’t choking the signal.

MemberNo clue, but mine hasn’t hurt speeds either.

MemberI have one on my work laptop and the only thing I noticed is that it made the lid feel slightly bumpy when closed. No Wi-Fi difference at all.

L_ParkerMemberI’ve had one on my router for about six weeks and my Wi-Fi has been fine the whole time. My smart TV in the bedroom still streams without buffering, which was my main worry before sticking it on. Speeds look the same as before to me.

MemberNot buying the “no interference at all” line. Mine is on a mesh node and I did get a brief dropout once, though it came back on its own. Could’ve been unrelated, but I’m not convinced it’s 100% invisible to Wi-Fi.

MemberMine actually did mess with my Wi-Fi for the first day or two. Speeds were fine but my phone kept dropping to the weaker band in the kitchen. Settled down after that, but it definitely wasn’t seamless right away.

MemberI’d push back on the “zero interference” claim a bit. A passive sticker sitting right on a router can still shift things depending on where it’s placed, even if speeds look normal on a quick test. Mine seemed fine for the first week, then my tablet started favoring the 2.4 band in one room. Not a dealbreaker, but I wouldn’t call it truly invisible either.

MemberThe dropouts people mention are probably just normal router stuff. I’ve had mine on for a month and my connection is the same as before. No idea why everyone’s convinced a sticker is messing with their signal.
16 de October de 2026 at 03:47 #16044
Tom BriggsMemberI honestly doubt the “zero effect” claim. If it’s actually doing anything to the field around a router, it’s a bit naive to think Wi-Fi would just carry on exactly the same. Mine lives on my bedside clock instead.

MemberThe “no interference” bit is the only claim I actually believe. It’s a sticker, it’s not doing anything to your Wi-Fi because it’s not doing anything at all.
16 de October de 2026 at 08:49 #16078Tom 2020
MemberSpeed staying the same doesn’t prove much on its own. A sticker with no power source isn’t going to do anything to a Wi-Fi signal in the first place, so of course nothing changed. If you want to believe it’s helping with EMF, that’s your call, but the “doesn’t interfere” claim is pretty easy when the thing isn’t doing anything.

MemberSticker on my router for a month, zero difference.
16 de October de 2026 at 12:30 #16107Brooky
MemberMine’s been on the router for about two months and the only time my Wi-Fi acted up was when the ISP was doing work in the area. Streaming and calls have been fine the whole time. It really hasn’t given me any grief.
16 de October de 2026 at 14:13 #16122
d4nielParticipantI stuck mine on the router more out of curiosity than anything and kind of forgot about it. What I did notice is that my Wi-Fi didn’t suddenly get worse, which is what I half expected. Same speed in the bedroom, same speed in the kitchen, streaming still fine. So on that specific claim, I’d say it holds up in the sense that nothing got worse.
But I’ll be straight with you, I don’t think that proves much either way. A sticker that isn’t plugged into anything isn’t going to magically boost or tank your signal. The reason it “doesn’t interfere” is probably the same reason it doesn’t do a whole lot else. That’s not me bashing it, I still use mine, I just don’t lose sleep over the marketing.
Where my opinion actually shifted was after a few weeks of normal use. I stopped thinking about it entirely. No reboots, no weird dead zones, no calls dropping. If it had been causing problems I would have noticed because my setup is pretty basic and I work from home. So yeah, as far as interference goes, I haven’t seen any. But I also wouldn’t read too much into that.

MemberI wouldn’t bother putting one on my router in the first place. If you want to know if it messes with Wi-Fi, just take it off for a day and see if anything changes. If nothing does, that tells you something.

MemberI mostly wondered the same thing until I realized the thing has no power and no connection, so there’s not really a mechanism for it to touch Wi-Fi in the first place. My router’s been fine, but I honestly don’t think the sticker deserves credit either way.

MemberMine actually did cause a small hiccup at first, my smart plug kept dropping off the network for a day or two after I stuck it on the router. Settled down after that though, so who knows.
16 de October de 2026 at 15:36 #16148
no_sleepParticipantNo idea about the technical side, but I’ve had one on my router for maybe six weeks and my Wi-Fi has been exactly the same as before. Same speeds, same range, nothing weird. If it were messing with anything I feel like I’d have noticed by now.

MemberI’ve had one on my router for about three months now and the Wi-Fi side of things has been fine, but I did notice something a bit odd early on with my printer. It kept showing as offline even though it was clearly connected, and that went on for maybe a week before sorting itself out. Could have been totally unrelated, but the timing lined up with when I stuck the thing on there. The speed itself never changed though, and my video calls stayed stable the whole time. I think the honest answer is that for most people it probably won’t cause problems, but I wouldn’t call it a guarantee either, since weird little things can pop up with any device you add to the mix. Curious whether anyone else has seen something similar with other gadgets around the house, not just the router itself.

MemberFair enough, I’ll just keep an eye on it then.
