HanSoloParticipantI’m thinking about getting the FitiBeats mainly for gaming on my phone and laptop. I know Bluetooth earbuds can have audio lag, so does this model have a specific low latency mode or something? I don’t want to deal with delayed sound in games.

MemberI use mine for games on my phone and haven’t noticed any lag that bothered me. There’s no separate low latency setting to turn on though, it just runs off the Bluetooth connection. For casual stuff it’s fine.

MemberDoes it actually have a low latency mode listed anywhere?
13 de October de 2026 at 21:46 #15732Riley Ash
MemberMine actually lags a bit when I play on my laptop, but it’s fine on my phone. Could just be my setup though. I didn’t see a low latency option anywhere in the settings either.

Sam ReadsMemberBluetooth 5.4 keeps the lag pretty minimal anyway.

MemberI don’t think there’s any actual low latency mode on these. Bluetooth 5.4 helps, but it’s not the same as a dedicated gaming mode. If lag really bothers you in games, wired is still the safer bet.

MemberA dedicated low latency mode isn’t really a must have for gaming anyway. My old buds had one and I barely noticed the difference compared to just using normal Bluetooth.

pixelnomadParticipantNo low latency mode on mine, and I don’t think the phone matters as much as people claim. I tried them with a rhythm game and the taps felt off enough that I switched back to wired. For slower stuff it’s fine, but calling it a gaming feature is a stretch.

MemberI use mine mostly for music but tried a few mobile games. No dedicated low latency setting that I could find in the app or touch controls. Audio felt fine for casual stuff, but I wouldn’t rely on them if you play anything timing sensitive.

MemberNo low latency mode, just standard Bluetooth.

MemberI picked these up mostly for podcasts, but I did try them with a couple of games on my laptop just to see. There is a slight delay if you’re looking for it, but for the stuff I play it wasn’t a problem. I didn’t find any gaming toggle in the touch controls though, so if that’s a dealbreaker for you it might be worth checking before buying. The sound itself is decent for the price, bass is a bit heavy for my taste but fine.

MemberBluetooth 5.4 alone has been fine for me on mobile games, no noticeable delay. I don’t need a special mode for that.

MemberLow latency mode is one of those things I always check for because I mostly game with earbuds too. I don’t have the FitiBeats myself, but I’ve tried a couple of budget pairs and the difference between having a mode and not having one was pretty noticeable for me. Even a small delay throws me off in anything fast paced. My personal preference is that I’d rather have the option and not need it than the other way around. Some people say normal Bluetooth is fine, but it depends on the person and the game. If gaming is your main reason for buying, I’d want to know for sure before pulling the trigger. Maybe check if there’s a firmware update that adds it, since some brands do that later.

techguy22ParticipantI’ve been looking at these too and from what I can tell there isn’t a dedicated low latency mode, at least not one that’s advertised anywhere. That said, I don’t think it’s automatically a dealbreaker. Bluetooth 5.4 is a pretty recent version and the lag on newer chips tends to be way less noticeable than it was a few years ago.
I’ve used a few earbuds that had a “gaming mode” toggle and honestly the difference was smaller than I expected. It helped a bit but it wasn’t like night and day. So for me the missing mode wouldn’t be the thing that kills it.
My bigger question would be whether the touch controls can be adjusted, since I’ve had earbuds where accidental taps during games got annoying fast. That’s more of a real world issue for me than the latency itself.

MemberNo low latency mode, so that answers your question.
14 de October de 2026 at 11:35 #15816Tom C
MemberBluetooth 5.4 doesn’t magically fix latency by itself, so I’d be careful trusting that. What actually matters is whether the phone supports a low latency codec, and even then it’s hit or miss. FitiBeats doesn’t list one, so you’re rolling the dice.

Nina WhiteMemberNo dedicated mode listed anywhere.

MemberI game a fair bit with earbuds and my take is that a low latency mode is nice but not the make or break thing people make it out to be. I had a pair with a dedicated gaming mode and honestly it barely changed anything for me on my phone. The bigger factor was just which app I was using. Some games handle audio fine over regular Bluetooth and some are a mess no matter what mode you flip on. So even if FitiBeats doesn’t advertise one, that alone wouldn’t stop me from buying them for gaming. What I’d actually care about is whether they stay connected well and the sound doesn’t stutter, which is more annoying than a tiny bit of delay in my experience. Lag you kind of tune out after a while, but dropouts drive me nuts.

MemberI keep seeing people obsess over this. Most of the time the “low latency mode” on cheap buds barely does anything anyway, so chasing that spec for gaming is kind of pointless.
14 de October de 2026 at 17:10 #15851Devvit
MemberI’ve used mine for a few mobile games and the sound stayed pretty much in sync with what was on screen. No clue if that counts as a real low latency feature or just how it happens to work with my phone, but it felt fine to me.

MemberI’ve had mine since March and never touch any special mode for games. The audio stays close enough for me, and I play a lot of puzzle and card stuff on my phone.
14 de October de 2026 at 20:08 #15870
Luis_A91MemberNo low latency mode listed, and mine feels slightly behind on shooter games.
14 de October de 2026 at 21:49 #15883
HanSoloParticipantWorks fine for me on casual stuff, desync only shows up on rhythm games.
