Anyone use the Qinux Vibrathea on their shoulders after sitting at a desk all day? I’ve been trying it on my upper back but not sure if I’m placing the pads right or if it’s even doing much. It feels okay for a bit but then I just kind of forget about it. Not expecting miracles, just wondering if it’s worth the hassle for that specific area.

Mine mostly just sat on the shelf after a couple weeks. It buzzes and that’s about it. For actual desk-work shoulder tightness I got more out of just standing up every hour than from the pads.

I’ve been putting mine more on the tops of my shoulders rather than upper back, which made a bigger difference for me. Still not something I’d call a fix, but it’s decent for loosening things up after a long day.

Shoulder placement never did much for me either.

I get way more out of mine on my lower back than shoulders, but the pads do need to sit right on the meaty part or it just tickles. Ten minutes with the heat on is my usual. It won’t fix a whole day of sitting, but it takes the edge off.

For me it wasn’t worth it on shoulders at all. I used mine there for a couple weeks and the relief was gone the second I took the pads off, so I stopped bothering. The heat mode is what I actually kept using it for, and even that’s pretty mild.

I never really bought the “placement has to be perfect” thing. As long as the pads are stuck flat on skin you should feel something, and for me the shoulders actually responded better than my upper back did. Ten minutes on the higher settings while I’m still sitting there and they loosen up a bit. Not life changing but it’s not nothing either.

Tried it on my shoulders for a week and went back to just standing up more often. The buzzing feels like it’s doing something in the moment but my shoulders were still wrecked by Friday. Not worth the fiddling with pads for me.

    Shoulders were useless for mine.

Mine mostly sits in a drawer now, but when I do use it I stick to the neck and traps, not the shoulders themselves. The pads need a flat spot to really grab, and shoulders are too curvy for that. It’s fine for a short unwind, nothing more.

I actually get decent use out of mine on my traps, like right where the shoulder meets the neck. Not so much directly on the shoulder cap though, that part never did much for me either. I usually run it while I’m still at my desk instead of after, and that seems to help more for some reason.

Mine actually gets more use on my shoulders than anywhere else, so I’m a bit surprised by the other replies. The trick for me was putting the pads lower than I first thought, more toward the back of the shoulder than the top, and that made a real difference. I still use it most evenings after work and it does enough for me to keep it charged and ready.

I wouldn’t bother chasing the perfect shoulder placement, they’re kind of awkward for that spot anyway. Mine felt fine for ten minutes then just turned into background noise. If it’s forgettable on your upper back it won’t magically get better lower down.

For me it was a waste on the shoulders. The pads just don’t sit well on that curve, so you get a bit of a buzz and then nothing. I use it on my lower back instead and it’s fine there.

For me it mostly became a neck and upper back thing, not really a shoulder tool. If I want the shoulder itself addressed I’d rather do a few stretches or use a massage ball against a wall. The device is fine for what it is, but chasing placement on that spot got old fast.

Probably just a neck and traps thing for me, moved on.
