I’ve been using the Hewelth ReliefChain mainly for my neck and shoulders, but I’m wondering if it’s meant to help with upper back tension too. The wrap sits a bit lower on me sometimes, so I’m not sure if that’s on purpose or if I’m wearing it wrong. Anyone else tried it on their upper back or trapezius area? Just curious if it’s supposed to reach there or if I should stick to neck and shoulders only.

Mine reaches my upper back fine when I have it sitting a little lower, so that might just be how it’s meant to fit. The trapezius area is where I feel it most actually. If it slides down too far though, I just shift it back up a bit.

The upper back thing is probably just how it sits. Mine ends up lower than I expect half the time and I’ve stopped fighting it. The wrap isn’t rigid so where it lands depends on your shoulder shape and what you’re wearing. If it’s drifting down to your upper back, that’s just gravity doing its thing, not a fitting error.

What I’d say is the trapezius area is the realistic limit. It’s not going to do much for your mid back no matter how you position it, and trying to force it higher just makes the neck part sit weird. I gave up adjusting mine constantly and just let it settle where it wants.

So yeah, upper back near the shoulders is fair game, but don’t expect it to reach further down. That’s not what it’s built for.

Mine didn’t really do much for my upper back at all. It felt nice on the neck and shoulders but once it slipped down past my shoulders the pulses got weak and I mostly just felt the heat. I still use it, just not expecting it to fix anything back there.

Mine definitely hits my upper back when it slides down a bit, and honestly that’s where I get the most out of it since my traps are always tight from desk work. I just let it sit wherever it lands instead of adjusting it back up.

It’s a neck and shoulder thing, not an upper back device. If it slides down and lands there, that’s just gravity, not a feature. I wouldn’t count on it doing anything real for your traps.

Upper back is listed in the specs if that counts for anything. Mine stays put there when I cinch the straps tighter, and the heat is the part I actually notice in that spot.

Mine hits my upper back way more than my neck honestly. I have a pretty long neck though so it kind of naturally sits lower on me no matter how I adjust it. I stopped trying to move it up because the upper back tension is actually the main reason I keep using it. The trapezius area gets that warm pulse feeling and it does loosen things up after a long day at my desk. I’ve had mine for a few months now and I use it most evenings while watching TV. It’s not some miracle thing but it does take the edge off. So yeah I’d say the upper back is fair game, not just an accident. If it sits lower on you that might just be your build and not a fitting issue.

Mine reaches my upper back just fine when I wear it a bit looser. I actually get more relief there than on my neck some days, especially after sitting at a desk all morning. So I’d say yeah, it can work for that area too.

Mine sits lower than I expected too, and I just let it. The trapezius area is honestly where I feel it most, especially after a long day at the desk. So I’d say don’t fight it if it drifts down there, that’s a good spot for it.

I wouldn’t count on it for upper back. The wrap is shaped to sit around the shoulders, so when it drops lower it stops doing much for me. I’ve tried shifting it up and it just slides back down.

Mine definitely hits my upper back when I have it on for a while, especially if I lean back in my chair. I don’t think it’s a mistake if it sits lower. The heat is what I notice there more than anything.

I prefer the looser fit on mine.

Mine does catch some of my upper back but it’s pretty mild compared to what I feel in my shoulders. I still use it mostly as a neck and shoulder thing and treat the upper back stuff as a bonus. If yours sits lower, that might just be how it fits on you.

Mine never really reaches my upper back, just neck and shoulders.

Mine slides down past my shoulders almost every time I wear it, and I’ve just accepted that. When it lands lower I mostly feel the heat on my upper back, not much else. It’s a nice excuse to sit still for twenty minutes though.

Mine doesn’t really do anything for my upper back, but I also don’t think it’s meant to. It’s a neck and shoulder thing, so when it slips down I just adjust it back up instead of trying to make it work lower.

Mine reaches the upper back a bit when I have it sitting higher, so I don’t think it’s strictly neck and shoulders only. But it’s nothing close to what I feel on my traps. If yours sits lower sometimes I doubt you’re wearing it wrong, it just shifts.

Good enough for me, I’ll just wear it where it lands.
