MemberTen minutes is nothing. I’d pick one mode, use it for a week at the same time every night, and see if my sleep or mood changes at all. If I can’t tell a difference after that, it’s probably just a fancy toy.

MemberSticker on my router for a month, zero difference.

MemberThe plastic on the cheap ones gets sloppy after a while and the battery starts wiggling. Mine still works but I have to hold it just right, which gets old fast. For a drill that sits in a drawer most of the year that’s fine. For anything you actually lean on, no.

MemberI stopped reading the spec sheets after the second brand. The numbers never line up because every company measures them however they want, so comparing them is worthless unless you enjoy homework.
What actually helped me was just looking at the shape of the thing and how it’s built. I had one that looked decent on paper but the head was too small and it rattled against my thigh. The one I still use has a wider flat head and it just feels solid. That told me more than any number.
If you can, go somewhere that has them out and hold one. Press it against your palm. If it feels cheap or the motor sounds strained, it’s probably not worth it for running soreness. You’re not buying a car here, you just want something that won’t die after a month.
