Been using my Ryoko Pro for a couple weeks now, mostly on trips. Noticed it gets a bit warm on the bottom after like 3-4 hours of use. Anyone else get that or is mine just running hot?

Mine gets warm too after a few hours, but it never seemed like a real problem. It’s still been working fine for me on trips, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

I guess that’s just how these little routers run when they’re working for a few hours straight. I wouldn’t worry about it unless it starts getting uncomfortably hot to the touch.

I think it’s probably normal. Mine does the same thing after a few hours but I’ve never really noticed it affecting anything.

Pretty normal for these little routers. Mine gets warm after a few hours of streaming or video calls but it’s never caused any issues.

It prob just needs a little breathing room. I noticed mine gets warm if I leave it sitting on a soft surface like a bed or couch.

I wouldn’t call it normal, mine barely gets warm. Maybe yours is working harder or sitting somewhere without airflow.

I think that’s probably just the battery working after a few hours, but I’m not totally sure either. Maybe it depends on the signal strength where you’re using it.

I’ve seen a few people mention it but mine doesn’t really get warm. Could be how you’re using it or where it’s sitting.

I’m still on the fence about getting one, so it’s interesting to see some people say it runs warm and others don’t. Makes me wonder if it’s just luck of the draw or depends on what you’re doing with it.

Pretty common with small routers like this, they don’t have much space for heat to escape.

It’s probably fine. Most of these little travel routers get a bit warm after a few hours, they don’t have a lot of space for the heat to go anywhere. I wouldn’t worry about it unless it starts getting really hot to the touch.

Mine gets warm too, usually after a few hours of streaming. I just set it on a hard surface instead of the couch and it seems fine.

I’m actually more surprised it takes 3-4 hours to get warm. Most of my little travel gadgets start heating up way sooner than that.

I mean, it’s a small box pumping out a signal for hours on battery, so a little warmth doesn’t surprise me. Mine gets warm but nothing that’s ever made me worry about it.

I’ve noticed mine gets warm too but it’s never seemed like a big deal. I figure it’s just the battery and the signal working at the same time in a small device.
