Been looking at the SleepZee for a while now but I’m a side sleeper and worried it might push my jaw weird or slip out during the night. Does it stay put if you roll around? Not sure if that’s a dumb question but figured I’d ask before buying.

Tried it as a side sleeper and honestly didn’t have issues with it slipping. The molding part is what makes the difference, if you don’t get that right it won’t stay. I did feel some jaw pressure the first few nights but that went away. Mine stayed put even when I tossed around.

I was in the same boat before I got mine. I move around a lot and was fully expecting to wake up with it on the pillow next to me. That hasn’t happened though. I had a cheaper mouthpiece before this one and that thing would work its way loose by morning no matter what. The SleepZee is different in that sense. I think the molding process matters more than anything. I did the boil and bite thing twice because the first time I rushed it and it felt off. Second time I made sure to really press it tight around my teeth and let it cool completely before taking it out. After that it locked in pretty well.

Mine never moved once I got the mold right, and I’m a tosser.

I’m a side sleeper and I’ve had mine for a few months now. It stays put once you get the mold right, I’ve never woken up to find it missing. The first couple nights felt a little weird but now I don’t even notice it.

I’m a side sleeper too and honestly mine ended up being more of a hassle than anything. It stayed in place fine, but I couldn’t get comfortable with it no matter how I adjusted the mold. I think I just prefer something less bulky when I’m on my side. Hope it works out better for you if you decide to try it.

Jaw weirdness is kind of a given with these things, honestly. The first couple nights felt like my bite was off but that faded. As for slipping, mine stayed put all night and I move plenty. I’d say the bigger question is whether you can handle the feeling of it in your mouth at all.

I was worried about the same jaw thing before I got mine. It does push your jaw forward, that’s the whole point, so the first few nights feel a bit odd. Mine never slipped out though, even when I move around a lot. I’d say the molding is the key, but it’s not as fiddly as it sounds.

I’m a side sleeper and it stays put, no question. The jaw thing is real for the first few nights but it settles down once you get used to it. I wouldn’t overthink the slipping part, that mold really locks it in.

The jaw thing is definitely a real adjustment, I won’t pretend it isn’t. But I didn’t have a problem with it staying in overnight. I move around a lot too and it never popped out on me. Once I got the fit right it was pretty much stuck where I put it.

If you’re a restless sleeper I’d say skip it. I tried a similar mouthpiece and spent half the night aware of it sitting in my mouth, which almost felt worse than the snoring. The jaw thing bothered me way more than it slipping around.

I’m a side sleeper and mine stayed in place fine, but the jaw thing never fully went away for me. Not that it hurt or felt like my bite was off after a week, more like I was just always aware of it pushing forward. Some nights I’d forget about it, other nights I’d wake up and it felt like my teeth were sore. I only really use mine now when my sinuses are clear and I know I’m not going to toss around much, because on restless nights I’d end up taking it out halfway through without even remembering. If you’re the type who sleeps like a log, probably fine. If you move a lot, you might end up like me and just leave it in the drawer most nights.

I’m a side sleeper too and mine never moved around on me. The jaw thing is annoying for a few nights but it did settle down. What got me was the drooling, nobody warned me about that part.

I actually think the slipping out thing depends a lot on how well you mold it. I got mine a few months ago and the first time I did the boil and bite thing I was too impatient and it never really gripped my teeth right. It kept feeling loose and I’d wake up with it sitting weird in my mouth. Once I re-did it and actually let it cool properly it stayed way better. I toss around a lot and it doesn’t really move anymore. The jaw thing is there but it’s more of a mild ache than anything crazy. I do wake up with a bit of drool sometimes which is gross but whatever. I’d say if you get it just take your time with the molding part.

The jaw thing is a legit concern for the first few nights, but it’s not like it’s forcing your face into a weird position forever. I’m a side sleeper and I never had it slip out, even on nights I was tossing around a lot. It’s more about getting the mold right than anything else.

I’m a side sleeper and the staying put part was never the issue for me, it’s more that the first few nights felt super weird having something in my mouth at all. Once I got used to that, it didn’t bother me and I didn’t wake up with it shifted or anything.

The slipping out thing I would not stress about, honestly. Mine has stayed put fine even when I toss around, and I move a lot. The jaw pressure is the part that took me a few nights to get used to, but it never felt like it was shoving things out of place.

Not a dumb question. I’m a side sleeper and the thing stayed in my mouth all night, no issue there. The jaw pressure took a bit to get used to, but it wasn’t like it was forcing anything out of place.

The rolling around part I can actually speak to because I toss a lot, like full on switching sides multiple times a night. I was pretty sure I’d wake up to this thing on my pillow somewhere, but it never happened. It stays locked in there.

The jaw thing though, that’s what got me for the first week or so. Felt like my bite was off during the day, which was a weird feeling. I’d catch myself clenching a bit. That went away though once I got used to it. I think my mouth just needed to figure out how to relax around it.

I did have to re-mold mine once after a couple weeks because the first fit felt too loose when I opened my mouth wide, but after that it was solid. Just make sure you follow the molding instructions properly and don’t rush it. That’s probably the biggest factor in whether it slips or not.

Slipping out was never the issue for me, it’s the bulk of the thing that gets annoying. I’m a side sleeper too and it stayed put fine, but I ended up tossing it after a few weeks because I just couldn’t get comfortable with it pressing against my teeth all night. The jaw thing wasn’t even the problem, I just hated the feel of it.
