Been using the SleepZee for about two weeks now. The fit is still pretty snug, almost too tight in the morning. Does the material give a bit over time, or is this just how it stays? Not complaining, just curious if I should expect it to ease up.

Mine stayed pretty tight for the first month honestly. I noticed it loosened up a little after that, but it never became loose if that makes sense. It just went from snug to comfortable. I wouldn’t expect it to change much more than that.

It does give a little, but don’t expect it to turn into a loose fit. Mine softened up just enough to not feel like a jaw clamp in the morning, but it still holds firm all night. If it’s causing real soreness after two weeks, that’s probably your sign it’s not the right one for you.

It loosens, but not by much. Mine stayed pretty rigid for the first few weeks and then just softened a little around the edges. It never turned into a loose fit, just less like a brick in the mouth. If you want it to feel noticeably bigger, you might be waiting a while.

I think it does soften a bit but nowhere near dramatic. Mine took about three weeks before the morning tightness went away. Now it just feels normal, not loose. If it’s still uncomfortable after a month I would probably remold it instead of waiting for more give.

It loosens up some, but you are not going to wake up one day and feel like it is too big. I would say the real change happened between week three and four. The morning tightness went from annoying to just noticeable. It does not give much more than that, so if it is painful now, it probably will not get a whole lot better.

Mine actually got slightly tighter after remolding it a second time.

Mine relaxed a bit after the first month, but the real change was just getting used to the pressure. The material didn’t give a ton, I just stopped noticing it as much. It’s still snug, which I figure is kind of the point.

I’d say give it another week or two. Mine stayed tight for a while and then one morning I just didn’t notice it anymore. It’s not that the material loosened a ton, more that it settled into place.

Mine never really loosened much. It softened a little but the tightness in the morning stuck around until I just got used to it. If you’re waiting for it to feel loose, I wouldn’t hold your breath.

It does loosen up a little, but not dramatically. I’ve had mine for about five weeks now and the first couple of weeks were pretty similar to what you’re describing, really snug in the morning. Somewhere around the three week mark I stopped noticing it as much. I think part of it is the material softening but honestly a lot of it was just my jaw getting used to it.

I travel a lot so I’m often sleeping in hotels with it, and I actually like that it still holds its shape. If it got too loose it wouldn’t do its job. You probably won’t wake up one day and think it’s too big, but the morning tightness definitely fades. I’d say just stick with it for another week or so before deciding.

I noticed mine felt a bit more forgiving around the three week mark, but it wasn’t some dramatic change. It just stopped feeling like it was fighting me all night. The mornings are still a little stiff but nothing like the first two weeks.

Mine never really gave much. I remolded it once early on and that helped more than just wearing it. But if you’re waiting for the material to soften up significantly, I wouldn’t hold my breath. The snugness is kind of the point with these things.

I noticed the opposite actually. Mine felt looser during the day but would tighten right back up once I was asleep and my jaw relaxed. The morning tightness was more about my jaw position than the material itself.

I’m at about six weeks with mine and the morning tightness has eased off some, but not completely. It’s more like the material softened just enough that it doesn’t feel like a clothespin on my jaw anymore. Still snug, but I don’t think it’s going to get much looser than this.

If you remolded it right, the tightness is probably doing what it’s supposed to do. My experience was that the material softened a bit but the fit stayed firm, which I actually wanted. A loose mouthpiece is useless anyway. I’d rather have it snug than wake up with it sitting in my cheek.

Mine stayed tight. I gave up waiting for it to break in and just dealt with it. If yours feels like it’s squeezing you awake, that’s probably your answer.

The snugness did ease up a little for me but not in a huge way. I think I just got used to how it feels rather than the material changing much. The first few weeks I noticed it every morning, now I barely think about it when I wake up.

Guess I’ll see what happens after a few more weeks then. Seems like it varies a lot depending on who you ask. Either way, it’s doing the job so I’m not gonna overthink it.
