My old GPS collar needed charging every day, so I’m curious how the Qinux Zindoggo battery holds up in real use. Does it actually last a few days with normal walks and the safe zone alerts on? I’ve only had mine for a week and it seems fine so far, but I’m still figuring out the routine.

I think people worry too much about battery life with these things. If you’re only charging it once every few days instead of daily, that’s already a win in my book. Mine seems to hold up fine for what it is.

I get what you’re saying about it only being a week in, but honestly, I think a lot of it depends on how much you’re actually using the GPS and alerts. I’ve had mine for a couple weeks now and I’m still not sure if the battery is really gonna hold up like they claim or if it’ll start dropping faster once the novelty wears off. It’s fine so far, but I’m not convinced yet.

I’m only a week in too, but so far mine’s been fine with daily walks and the safe zone on. Haven’t had to charge it every day yet.

I’m only a week in and haven’t had to charge it daily yet, so that alone is a big improvement for me.

You’re a week in and it’s fine, so I’d say just stop worrying about it.

I guess it depends on what you need out of it. For me, I’d rather have a collar that lasts a few days without stressing over the charger every night, even if it means slightly bigger. Your old one sounds like a hassle.

I’d give it a bit more time before deciding. I know people say a week is enough to tell, but sometimes battery stuff changes after a few charge cycles or when you start using it more.

I’d give it a couple more weeks before making up your mind. I’ve seen some trackers settle into a different battery pattern after the first few charges.

I’ve had mine for about three weeks now and I only charge it every few days even with the safe zone on. Seems to settle in after the first couple of charges.

I’m only a week in and haven’t had to worry about charging it every day yet, so that alone feels like a big step up for me. I guess I’ll just see how it goes after a few more weeks.

Honestly, I’m only a few weeks in myself and I haven’t found the battery to be a problem yet. I charge it every couple of days just out of habit, but it never seems to die on me during a walk or anything. Maybe it just depends on how often you check the app.

I’d say give it another week or so to see how it settles. Mine was fine after the first few charges and now I charge it every couple of days without thinking about it.
