techguy22ParticipantThinking about using the Qinux BlastVul on some ground-level windows. Does it come with a specific nozzle for glass or do you just use the lowest pressure setting? Not trying to crack anything here.

coffeeandscreensParticipantI’ve seen a few people just use the lowest setting on glass and it seemed fine, no cracks or anything. The wide spray nozzle that comes with it spreads the water out enough that it doesn’t feel aggressive on windows. Good enough for ground level stuff without overthinking it.

MemberHonestly, I wouldn’t overthink it too much. I’ve used mine on a couple of ground-level windows with just the regular wide nozzle and it was fine, no issues at all. Just keep it on the lowest setting and don’t hold the spray too close, it’s not really a big deal.

Oliver BrooksMemberI mean, I wouldn’t go straight to glass with it even on the lowest setting. I tried it on a small window once and it seemed fine, but I still felt like I was pushing my luck.

MemberI’d probably still be careful with glass even on the lowest setting, just because it’s a pressure washer at the end of the day. The wide nozzle should help spread the water out enough to not be too harsh.

MemberI just use the lowest setting with the wide nozzle and it’s been fine on my windows so far. Haven’t had any cracks or issues.

Tina MMemberI think people overthink this. I’ve used mine on a few windows around the house and just kept the nozzle on the widest setting, didn’t even bother with the lowest pressure. No issues at all, just kept it moving and didn’t hold it too close. Works fine for me.

MemberI haven’t used mine on glass yet, but it seems like it would be fine with the right nozzle. I’d probably just test it on a small corner first to be safe.

MemberI just use the regular wide nozzle on mine. Lowest setting and don’t hold it too close. Works fine so far.

MemberWide nozzle and lowest setting has worked fine for me. Just don’t hold it too close and you’ll be good.

MemberI mean, it’s not exactly rocket science. Just don’t hold it right up against the glass and it’ll be fine. People act like these things are industrial sandblasters or something.

MemberI dunno, I kinda feel like people wing it a bit too much with these things on glass. I’d probably want something a bit more targeted than just the wide nozzle, even on low.

MemberHonestly I wouldn’t overthink it. I just used the regular nozzle that came with it and kept some distance, no issues at all.

EthanFreeMemberI just used mine on some old basement windows and didn’t even bother switching nozzles. Kept it on the lowest setting and held it far enough back, no cracks or anything.

techguy22ParticipantPretty much what I figured. Low pressure and some distance seems to be the general rule with these portable units. Good enough for me, I’ll just grab it and give it a shot on the windows this weekend.
