I picked up an AlarmTag recently and I’m pretty happy with it so far. One thing I noticed though is the pull pin feels a bit stiffer compared to the old one I used to carry years ago. Is that normal or just mine? Wondering if it loosens up over time.

Honestly, I’d rather have it a bit stiff than too loose. A pin that pulls too easy could pop out by accident in a bag or something.

I noticed the same thing with mine. It feels like it needs a deliberate pull compared to older alarms I’ve had, but honestly that kind of makes me feel better about carrying it in my bag. I haven’t had it long enough to know if it loosens up, but it’s not bothering me so far.

Mine felt a bit tight at first too. I think it might just be the newer ones are a little more stiff out of the box. I haven’t really noticed it enough to bother me, but I guess I’d rather it be a little harder to pull than have it go off in my bag.

I haven’t had mine long enough to say if it loosens up, but I actually don’t mind the stiffness. It makes it feel more secure, like it won’t go off by mistake if it gets bumped around in my bag.

I’ve noticed it too, but honestly I think it’s fine. Feels like it just needs a little more intent to pull, which probably isn’t a bad thing.

Mine felt the same way at first, but I actually prefer it. Gives me peace of mind that it won’t accidentally go off in my bag.

I think the stiffness is by design honestly. The pin on mine hasn’t loosened up at all after a few months, so it’s probably just how they make them now.

I’ve had mine for a few months now and the pin definitely stayed stiff the whole time. It’s never loosened up at all. Works fine for me though, I just got used to pulling a little harder.

I think it’s probably just how they come now. Mine felt kind of stiff too when I first got it, but I didn’t really think much of it. Not totally sure if it’ll loosen up, but it doesn’t bother me enough to worry about it.

I’m not sure if it loosens up, but mine has been consistent from day one. Doesn’t bother me though.

I wouldn’t worry about it. If anything I’d rather have it a little stiff than risk it going off by mistake.

Mine felt the same way but it never bothered me. I’d rather have it a bit tight than worry about it popping out when I don’t want it to.

I kinda like the stiffer pin actually. Makes me feel like it’s not gonna accidentally go off if it bumps against something in my bag. I’d rather have it a bit tight than deal with false alarms.

Mine’s been like that since day one. Never changed. I’d rather have it tight than worry about it sliding out in my bag.

Mine still feels stiff after a few months. Doesn’t bother me much though, I’d rather it stay that way than loosen up too much.
