I’ve been using my LumaGlasses for about a week now and I’m getting around 4 hours of active use instead of the 5-6 they mention. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong? I mainly use them for calls and music during my commute.

Mine gets about the same, around 4 hours. I use them for calls and music too. Still enough for my commute so I didn’t think much of it.

Huh, I get about 4.5 hours on mine but I mostly just use them for podcasts during walks, not calls. Maybe the constant mic usage for calls drains it faster? Still works fine for my commute though.

Hmm, that’s interesting. I feel like I’ve seen a few people mention the battery being a bit less than advertised. I wonder if it varies a lot depending on which features you’re actually using at the same time.

I’ve had mine for about two weeks and honestly I’m not really bothered by it. I get around 4 hours too but that’s plenty for my day. Maybe the 5-6 is under perfect conditions or something.

I think the calls might be what’s draining it faster for me too, I’m getting around 4 hours as well when I’m on the phone a lot. Still gets me through my day fine though, so it’s not a big deal. Maybe the advertised numbers are under ideal conditions or something.

I think 4 hours sounds pretty normal from what I’ve seen around here. Maybe the advertised time is under perfect conditions or something.

I get around the same, 4 hours or so. Still gets me through my commute and a coffee run so it’s not really bothering me. Maybe the advertised number is just best case.

I’m getting around 5 hours with mine, mostly using them for music and the occasional voice assistant check, so the advertised range seems about right for me. I don’t really use them for calls much, so maybe that makes a difference. Not sure if it’s a defect or just a usage thing, but mine have been fine so far.

I wonder if the translation feature or voice assistant drains it more than just music, I haven’t really tried those much yet. Might be worth testing on a day without calls to see if it gets closer to the advertised time.

Four hours sounds fine to me. I mostly just use mine for music on walks and it lasts long enough. Not totally sure why they advertise 5-6 but it hasn’t been a problem.

I was looking at these for commuting too, but 4 hours seems like it’d barely get me through a full day of errands. Still trying to decide if that’s enough or if I should wait for a newer version.

Appreciate everyone chiming in, sounds like four hours is pretty much the norm for most of us. Guess I’ll just keep an eye on it and see if it evens out after a few more charge cycles, but it’s still getting me through what I need.
