Just used my SleepZee for a couple nights. Noticed I still breathe through my mouth sometimes during sleep. It has those airflow vents, but I’m curious if anyone else finds them useful or if it’s more for just in case.

I think the vents are more of a backup than something you’ll actively notice. It’s probably not going to stop mouth breathing completely, but it helps a bit if you shift around at night.

The vents are there for a reason, but I think it’s more about emergency airflow than something you’ll feel working. If you’re still mouth breathing, the device itself isn’t designed to stop that, just to give you some air if your mouth falls open. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

The vents are there so you don’t suffocate if your mouth falls open, not to magically keep it shut. If you’re still mouth breathing sometimes, it’s probably just your jaw relaxing, not the device failing. Mine still happens occasionally and the vents do their job, I wake up fine.

I get what you’re saying, but I think the vents do help a bit more than people give them credit for. I noticed less mouth dryness with mine, even if my mouth isn’t perfectly shut all night.

I think you’re overthinking it a bit. The vents are just there so you don’t panic if your mouth opens, not to actually stop mouth breathing. Mine still drops open sometimes and it’s fine, I just wake up, close it, and go back to sleep. Not a big deal in my experience.

Honestly, I wouldn’t stress about it too much. I think the vents are just there so you don’t feel like you’re suffocating if your mouth does open a bit. Mine works fine for me most nights and I wouldn’t overthink the occasional mouth breathing.

The vents are fine, but if you’re still mouth breathing that much, the device probably just isn’t a great fit for you. Not everything works the same for everyone.

I can see why you’d wonder about the vents. I think they’re more of a safety thing than something that actively fixes mouth breathing. Mine still opens a bit at night and I don’t really notice the airflow doing much. But it hasn’t bothered me enough to stop using it.

I skimmed through this and I think people are overcomplicating it. The vents are just a backup, not a fix for mouth breathing. I’ve had mine for a few weeks and it works fine for snoring, but my mouth still opens sometimes.

I think the vents do more than people say. I’ve been using mine for a few weeks and my mouth feels way less dry in the morning even if I wake up with it slightly open. Works fine for me.

Honestly I think the vents are fine for what they are. Not gonna fix mouth breathing completely but they help with the dry mouth feeling at least. I wouldn’t overthink it.

I haven’t had that issue with mine, but I also don’t really think about the vents much. They’re probably just there so you don’t panic if your mouth falls open. As long as I’m not snoring, I’m happy.

I figure the vents are just a backup in case your mouth falls open. Not really meant to fix the breathing issue itself.

I haven’t had any issues with my mouth falling open while using it, so the vents feel like a non-issue to me. Maybe they’re just there for peace of mind.

Honestly, I think people overthink the vents. They’re just there so you don’t feel trapped if your mouth falls open, not to completely stop mouth breathing. Mine works fine for me, I barely notice them.

I think the vents are mainly for peace of mind if your jaw relaxes a bit during the night, not for fully stopping mouth breathing. Mine seems to work fine for me, but I don’t overthink it.

The vents are fine, not really something I’d stress over. If your mouth falls open, they probably help a bit, but I wouldn’t expect them to fully stop mouth breathing. Seems like a minor feature, not a big deal either way.

I’d probably just keep using it and see if your mouth gets used to staying closed over time. I don’t really rely on the vents for much, but they haven’t bothered me either.

Yeah I guess that makes sense. I think I was just overthinking the vents at first. They seem to do their job well enough for me now.
