I think you’re overthinking it. If it’s rated for bathrooms, just use it. Moisture isn’t going to instantly kill a plug-in heater unless you’re literally spraying water at it.

I’d probably just keep it in the bedroom honestly. Moving it back and forth sounds like a hassle and I’d rather not risk forgetting it in there.

I just leave mine plugged in near the sink and haven’t had any trouble with steam or moisture. It’s small enough that I don’t worry about it, and the shutoff feature gives me peace of mind. Honestly, I’d just go for it if you’re already using it in the bedroom.

I figure if they specifically say it’s suitable for bathrooms, they probably tested it with some moisture around. I wouldn’t worry too much about it unless you’re planning to put it right next to the shower head.

I wouldn’t personally move it into the bathroom. Even if it’s rated for bathrooms, the constant steam and condensation around a plug-in device just doesn’t sit well with me long-term. I’d probably not bother moving it honestly. Once you get used to having it in the bedroom it’s fine where it is, and the bathroom already gets warm enough from the shower anyway.

I’ve had mine plugged in near the sink in a small bathroom for a few weeks now and it’s been fine. The room is small enough that it actually makes a difference pretty fast, which is nice in the winter.

That said, I do unplug it when I’m done. Not because I’m scared of it, but just because the bathroom is small and I don’t see the point in leaving it running when I’m not in there. It takes two seconds to pop it back in when I need it. I wouldn’t want to keep it in there permanently anyway, since it takes up the only outlet I have near the mirror.

I guess my take is it works for the bathroom, but it’s not something I’d leave running unattended just because of the damp air over time. Not that I think it’ll break, I just prefer to keep it dry when it’s not in use. For the actual shower part, it’s been fine. No weird smells or flickering or anything like that.
