ClairLite timer vs my old lamp that just had a switch

I think you might be overthinking it. The timer is just peace of mind so you don’t accidentally leave it running for hours.

I think it’s just easier to hit the timer and not think about it. My old lamp needed a separate kitchen timer so I’d remember to turn it off, and I definitely forgot more than once. The ClairLite’s auto shutoff is more of a safety net than a time saver, but it’s nice not having to babysit it. You’re probably overthinking it.

I wouldn’t worry about forgetting to set it. The timer is more about not having to run back to the room to turn it off.

Huh, I just set the longest timer and walk away. I don’t really think about it as saving time, more like I don’t have to worry if I forgot to turn it off. But I can see how it’s one more button to press if you’re used to just flipping a switch.

It’s not that deep. Just set the timer and walk away. Saves me from having to babysit the thing, which was the whole point of switching.
